Holidays in Ireland 1890 - 1939

Hello there!

I am carrying out doctoral research into tourism in Ireland from 1890 (or slightly earlier) - 1939 and am looking for travel journals/diaries or letters about people's experiences touring Ireland at that time. I think it is vital to understand what REAL people experienced and not to spend the entire time re-hashing history books!

If anyone had any family members who traveled to Ireland during this period and wrote about their experiences I would be really keen to hear from you.

Looking forward to anything anyone may have!

All the best

Matt
