Evening Mr Daff
Sorry the meeting was foiled and that you too couldn't get near to our Daff.
Hopefully she will forgive you.

Good luck for tomorrow, but better safe than sorry. You really don't want to be in the next bed with a broken leg ...........or worse

Are the cats loving the snow or staying indoors?

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}} for you both

Linda :o) XxX

As you say R a frustrating day. But 2 chicken wings, that is solid food so well done there.

The roads are atrocious, I know we got around when young in the snow, but look at the difference in traffic. I do remember seeing photos in the paper of cars abandoned and covered completely in snow drifts so maybe it was bad then but in proportion to the number of cars not so disruptive. (1962/3)

Better safe than sorry though and probably right to go home again. It is anothe day tomorrow. I hope that the meeting will be held then.

Is it H that is stuck in work. Hope she is OK, bet she is fed up though.

How frustrating for you - and more time to wait for a meeting especially with Christmas coming up. At least you know Daff is being well taken care of. Hope you get to see her soon. More positive thoughts on their way.

Mr Daff,

Your health and safety is most important just now - Daff is safe and warm in the hospital, but you need to keep well for the nursing duties in the coming weeks.

good morning all, more snow overnight although not too deep and the local main road I can see from the house seems to be running freely.

Hope you can get in today, but don't fret if you can't R. Stay safe, Daff doesn't need you out of commission as well.

((((hugs))))) to you both.

It's a shame you couldn't get to the hospital Mr Daff but it's not worth risking your safety. Daff will need you to be fighting fit when she gets home.

We've had lots more snow in the last couple of days, just when it was nice to see it gone!!.... and we had loads of snow last year but one thing I have noticed, and not seen for a very long time, is the huge icicles forming from the roofs.

I do hope you managed to get to the hospital Mr Daff and the roads are becoming clearer for everyone.
Wonder if the aroma of chicken wings 'tickled' Daff's taste buds :O)

No problem getting in today. No real change in Daff, though she is totally fed up with being in hospital.
The bad news is that because the meeting didn't go ahead yesterday, she won't be discharged until after the next one.....and that will now not be before Christmas.
On a slightly brighter note, she will be home on Christmas Day, but on 'Day Release', which means picking her up in the morning and then returning to the hospital that evening. Nowhere near ideal, but better than nothing.

cheers,
R.

Evening Mr Daff,

I am sure with a day back in her own surroundings, Daff will make some progress. Just seeing her pets will be good. It will be tiring for her though.

Excellent to hear that the travelling was better for you.
