Cant blame our Daff for sneaking back into bed, its definitely the best place to be in this weather!!

Yep, going back to bed sounds like a good idea to me as well.

I do hope Daff starts to eat soon though, maybe when she gets home she'll have a better appetite.

Make sure the nurses cover Daff with her fleecy blanket when she sits out. It can be very cold just sitting. I like my bed in this weather too. Pity you cant bottle the smell of fish and chips or bacon and egg to get her taste buds working.

No change today. Bloods taken yesterday show improvement in some areas and decline in others...taking build-up drinks, but not happy with solids at all, not that they or their presentation instill wanton desire, I suppose !!!!

Snow abounds and as it's dropped to around -4C, the 'melted' bits are now happily freezing - Dancing on Ice syndrome!

Thanks for the update - those build-up drinks should get a few calories and goodness into Daff.

Yes hopefully the build up drinks will help to give some strength. Wonder why Daff can't bring herself to take solids. Wonder if her throat hurts her to swallow or something and she is not saying.

Evening Daffers and Mr Daff:o)

Well this bloomin weather is messing everyone about is'nt it.....Some nursing staff have worked 24 hrs and can't get home in Cardiff!!

Daff hope you can soon start to eat properly, such a shame the food there is'nt the best. Have you had any lucozade?? l love it:o)
Some weetabix, or Farex, or porridge with warm milk and abit of sugar and perhaps abit of evaperated milk:o)) angel delights and jelly with evap milk...ohh yes:o))....then the peest of resistance Nestle Condenced milk:o)) YUMMYYYYY
Soup and mash spuds with a dash of butter...mmmm:o))

Love to you both tonight .It is almost too cold to say anything But keep drinking those Build Ups Daff,until you are ready for the proper grub.Maybe a nice Xmas Dinner will get the appetite going. xx

Hello be carefull outside Mr Daff x build up drinks are ok .Daff needs to try portions of jelly ice cream, fresh cream .mash .maybe with gratted cheese & butter .there is so much you can liquidise , savoury & sweet . . ((((((((hugs))))))))) xx God Bless Barbra
