Mr Daff,can you buy some of those soups eg Covent Garden, in the cartons and pop them in a flask.They are just like home made.
I understand the problem with doing the Tests,(and Daff having to be aware of what is being done),but I hope you can get the Power of Attorney sorted soon so that things can be done.

Thanks R, I guess it is just that the hospital food is not nice. Maybe as somebody said sister could make double quantity and you could freeze some of it.

Daffy would want what ever is best for her and would be mighty upset at all the red tape I'm sure,,,,,hope you can get it resolved quickly R....

Sister's home made soup seems to have been just what was needed and it's good to see that Daff obviously enjoyed it.

Homemade soup is the business,full of essential vitamins, and as others have said, would be good to take in as and when Daff wanted it.

Still very chilly here and white with frost, beautiful scenary. Vic is still out with madoc walking the river banks.....they love it:o)

Daff thats great news about the soup, bet you can't wait till the weekend for next lot:o)) Yeh those carton ones are great too. R Perhaps you can take a couple of those in for the staff to heat up for Daff, or is'nt that allowed, so many stupid rulesand regulations!!

Hope you can get that power of attorney sorted out. It would be awful if daff missed out on essential treatment. I would think her memory will stand more chance of coming back once she can get some real food into her. She is obviously missing some essential vitamins.

R I think Daff would have to sign PoA for health reasons so it may be better to go down the 'for the benefit of the patient' route
