Morning Daff and all:-) Drizzly, dull morning and my visitor left yesterday so I must do some clearing up today. I hope you had a peaceful night dear Daff and your temperature is back to normal.

I am happy to see Gwynnie has opted for the tie dying of the sheets as it is a rather messy job but someone has to do it and it is essential that we are a matching band of troops...camouflage is imperative. Would sparkly socks look a bit tacky do you think?

Am making the sandwiches as it is a long walk to Twickers and not sure if my doggie can make it:-) lol BC XXX

but with all those lovely men at the end of your walk BC!!!!

Tie dying Gwynne, Hmm you'll have to grab those parachute bloomers off BC and put them in with the sheets, if she goes shinning up and down sheets we want her to blend in as well.

sparkly socks are OK BC as long as they are yellow and black sparkly stripes.

Morning ! Apol's for not dropping in last night - keyboard didn't want to play with anyone.....just fixed it now!
Daff stabilising, though temp still high and eating prob continues. She thinks she may be in all week with poss 'day release' at the w/end (ASBO-like curfew !!!). They may also be putting a new Hickman line in at some time, but nothing more on that yet.
Still tired - not unexpected with the combination of drugs/infusions/no food.

Maybe better to stay in a bit longer R, for her own peace of mind, sometimes we feel safer if we are in hospital as in Daff's case where things keep fluctuating.

Are the medics trying to come up with a solution to the food problem?

Give her our love and tell her we are thinking of her all the time, Well maybe not the past hour when we were both in the dentists chair but most of the time.

Hellooooo, Hope you will feel like eating soon Daff as we need you to get your strength up. I think the troops are losing direction somewhat and seem to be sending BC and her bloomers to Twickers to meet some lovely men tsk tsk.

Gwynne I'll help with the tie dye of the sheets as you'll need a fair few to be of any use.

I will get some sparkly socks from some where I'm sure and can alway dye them the correct colours.

Now I have some braising steak with veg and spuds for tea, it will be ready about 6pm so help yourselves .Apple crumble for afters with lumpy custard just like mother used to make.

There will be *NO* sparkly socks.

You will all need nice sensible hand knitted socks and shiny black boots.

The sheets are now a delicate shade of purple with magenta highlights. And so are my hands.

Hope Daff's temp goes down soon.

Ooh we must have sparkly things as Daff is the Queen of Sparkles and Glitter.

Evening Daff, Mr Daff & Troops,

What is all this about drops of brandy and the like. I am on my dandelion and burdock just now, that is strong enough for me.

Hope Daff has had a day of improvement, and that something tasty has managed to be found.

The tie-dyed sheets look lovely, but shame about Gwynne's hands matching them. I'm off to the sock drawer to see if I can find some sparkly ones.
