Hello Sallie, yes that is where I went for my holiday, it was a short walk from my accommodation. I will change the avatar at a later date so you can see more of the photos.

AnninGlos Report 8 May 2014 17:21

I seem not to have been on here for a while. Spent today packing for our holiday, first week in Cornwall, second week Dorset, I don't think we are going to get sunburnt. Where is the heatwave you usually have in UK when we are in Tenerife in May? Not even on the horizon.

Glad the abcess has nearly gone Jean. Whenever I have had an abcess I have had to have the tooth out afterwards.

I think Mo was having a few days away before her hospital appointment.

Yes thanks we are fine, just been really busy getting the garden up to scratch before leaving it. If this weather keeps up we will return to a boggy mess.

We have WiFi where we are going so I shall still be around on here. :-) :-) :-)

Reporting what I am up to, thought I would wait until all the various dates were cleared , dentist said the abscess has nearly gone but still a bit sore it has been agony, , eye clinic o.k. for the next 6 months, new glass to pick up on Monday, dont know if I have earache or maybe all tied up with the mouth, so that one week out of the way , struggling walking so am going to the docs next week hopefully, still feeling tired all the time, so may get some help with that too,

Thanks Sallie for your concern, and telling my friends on here how things are, hope our Mo is doing o.k. if she is away hope the weather is better than here its pouring....

I will let you know how I get on either by adding or sending a p.m.

love to everyone love Jean xx

Hello girls, thought I'd just pop on to see how you all are and to nudge the thread up a bit.

Huia, is your avatar one of the photos you took while you were away? I'm not on face book, so not sure if it is.....wherever it is, it looks a lovely place to be.

I hope that your few days went well and that the weather was good for you.

Mo, did you tell us that you and Roly are going on holiday before your hospital appointment?

Pleased to hear that your pain is more under control now without you having to take the painkillers prescribed by your doctor. I hope that whatever the problem is Mo, the hospital will soon get it sorted for you.

Jean, also hope that you are starting to feel better and not so tired as you have been over the last few weeks.

Have you been able to get back to the dentist yet? Hope that the abscess you had has now gone, so that you are still not suffering with it.

Ann, Sylvia and Marie hope that you and your families are all alright.

Take care everyone.

Love and best wishes.

Love, Sallie.xxx

I have now posted a lot of photos of my trip on my FB page. I put them in several albums to make them easier (I hope) to see.

Sallie Report 3 May 2014 21:49

Hi Mo, I thought your appointment was for either a Colonoscopy or an Endoscopy, too..... I assumed that it was for one or the other. Also told Jean when I sent her a p.m. sorry my mistake!.
Thank goodness that the painkillers you are taking are helping to control the pain for you.
I hope and pray that all will go well for you and that whatever the problem is, it will be something that can be put right.

Had a message from Jean today, as you said, she still isn't very well. <3 She is hoping to see the doctor next week , so hope that he/she can give her something to take so that she is feeling a lot better soon.
Jean, hoping and praying that your health will improve very soon. Sending you lots of positive thoughts and hugs. <3 <3

Elizabeth, thank you for looking in on us and your good wishes for the weekend.

Also sending good wishes to you and your family, also hope that you will enjoy your weekend. Take care.

Jennie has suffered with a few problems with her Crohn's over the last four or five days, so we just have to wait and see how it goes. At least if it is a flare- up, she can ring the hospital for advice on what she has to do. I just hope that it isn't though, as she is usually really poorly with it.

Huia, hope you feel alright after your holiday, also hope that the weather was good for you.

Ann, not sure if you are at home for the weekend or away, wherever you are hope that you and T have a good weekend.

Sylvia and Marie, hope that you are both alright along with your families.
We haven't heard from you both for a while.

I will say bye for now, will speak to you all again soon.

Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

Hello everyone.
Just popping in to say hello. I hope you are all well, and will enjoy the bank holiday weekend.
My appointment for the 27th, is for a pre-op assessment, not as I thought the camera job. So I have pulled the scafolding poles out, as the camera crew won't need them just yet.
The pain thankfully is more under control, with the use of painkillers, not the ones prescribed by the GP I might add, they are far to strong and addictive.
I had a p.m from our Jean, and bless her she is till not very well. So please join me in praying for her health to improve.
Well girls, I am going to say goodnight, god bless. Love Mo xxx

I arrived home yesterday afternoon. I will tell you about the trip another time as I have an appointment at the local garage for my warrant of fitness, or at least the one on my vehicle. It expired yesterday, so I cant legally go anywhere until it is renewed.

Mo, hope all goes well with your film debut, hope the film will turn out clear, with nothing awful to worry about. I know it isn't for a few weeks yet, but sending you lots of positive and hugs. <3 <3

Liz sent us a message this afternoon, to let us know that Jan came out of hospital on Saturday, he was given a diet, he has to watch what he eats. Joyce, also has to watch her sugar levels so really must be careful, too.

I hope that Jean is feeling a bit better today, it will be nice to see her back on here.

Sylvia, hope that you are okay, it's a while since we last heard from you.

Huia, hope you had a good journey and that you will enjoy your few days away.

Marie, hope that all is well with you and your family too.

Take care everyone.

Mo, sorry to hear that you are having problems, I hope when you have the exploratory procedure that they will find it is not as bad as you are thinking. Have I missed where you said you were going away or just forgotten? Enjoy the break anywy :-)

Hi girls, just a quickie to let you know that I am still around.

Have a lovely break away Huia, don't forget your wellies and umbrella, just in case.

Good to hear you got back safetly Ann, and that you had an enjoyable time with your family.

Sallie, thanks for the update on our Jean. Bless her she must be in a lot of pain.

If I don't post for a few days, it will be because I am suffering with problems with my tummy.
I have got the camera crew and lighting men, waiting to make a film of my insides next month.
We go away for our break, and when we come back, I am making my film debut. Not looking forwards to it I have to admit...not the proceedure, but what they may tell me following it.

Anyway girls, take care, speak to you soon. Hugs Mo xxx

Huia enjoy your break and take care. Hope the rain goes away at least for the next few days.

Ann glad that you had a safe journey home. I have had a few abscess over the years too, as you say they are very painful, not nice things to have. Hope the antibiotics will start doing what they should for Jean, soon.

Love, Sallie.xxx

Hi Sallie, thank you for the message from Jean, I have had a few abscesses and they are really painful so I feel for her. Hope the antibs do their job Jean.

Sallie Report 28 Apr 2014 21:05

Hello girls, just to let you know that I have had a message off Jean, she asked me if I would let you know that she has an abscess under her tooth. She went to the dentist this morning and he has given her antibiotics, so hopefully it won't be too long before Jean will feel better. She says she is still feeling rotten and suffering a lot of pain with it.
Jean, sending you lots of love and hugs. <3 <3

Mo, how are things with you? I hope that your son is starting to feel better today.

Ann, just wondering if you are home from Milton Keynes yet. If you are, I hope that you and T had a good journey.

Huia, hope things are all okay with you. Is it this week that you go away?

Well I am going to the walk-in clinic tomorrow morning, so hoping that they can sort out the problem with my hearing aids. I'll see how it goes.lol!!

We haven't heard how Jan is for the last five days, so we are all hoping that no news, is good news.

Still thinking of both Joyce and Jan. <3 <3

Must go now, chat to you all soon.
