I think that was the way it was originally but nothing seems to happen these days when names of stores etc are mentioned. My brain wasn't working just then.

AnninGlos Report 26 Apr 2015 09:46

Are you sure it is not just a one year problem Jean? Check before you get rid of it. Do you have a garden centre nearby where you could ask to make sure.

I know I am probably half asleep but can't do puzzles this time of the morning. You son't have to avoid putting names of things on here these days. What is H/D**y ?

Well, better get on now, got to go to return a sat nav to Argos that T can't get to work properly.

I did have a look for symptoms of the flowers dropping off the Camelia, it seems it is flower blight, probably caused by frost, sadly there is no cure so it looks I have lost it,
I will look at buying another plant in memory of Daff, they are such lovely flowers and have bloomed freely. :-( :-( :-(

Ooops Ann,I must have been asleep whilst you and T were away, goodness me how the time seems to fly by.
Did you have a nice time Ann?
Thats the only trouble with going away, catching up on the washing, but at least if the weathers good, it makes it a lot easier doesn't it.

Oh Jean, I am deeply hurt....boo hoo, fancy not wanting me as a neighbour LOL
Good luck at the Glaucoma clinic love. Don't you think, as I do, that unless we really need new frames, we tend to waste money by buying new.
I have had the same frames for a while now, just had new lenses when they were needed.

Take care, love to all, Mo xxx

Hi everyone, sun still shining but cool. the forecast is for cooler weather and rain....
the plants could do with soaking,I have been doing more sorting out, and managed to tidy up a lot of card bits and pieces, but I have a lot more to come yet so it will start all over again ;-) ;-) ;-) I have also started to make my will out who will get most of the craft stuff when I move on :-D :-D :-D :-D well one must be prepared ;-) ;-) ;-) it would be a pity if it all went to the tip.....
the freezer has gone too, so next job on the list is I go and have my eyes tested next week as I have a date with the Glaucoma clinic shortly and need to take my latest test notes... so new glasses are on offer buy on get one free....silly really we have loads of glasses in the drawers, I think I will have new lenses in the ones I have now....
last time it was reccomended I had a cover on them with having the onset of cataracts, but I wont be having them again , they are a devil to keep clear... :-| :-| :-|

Home now Mo, came home yesterday and been unpacking, washing, shopping for food, planning what needs doing in the garden, making a get well card and catching up with social media. :-)

It has been a lovely day here today, sunny and warm and T has worked hard in the garden. turned cold now though, knew it wouldn't last.

Oh dear me Jean, fancy our losing the house to someone else, when I was looking forwards to being your neighbour, never mind, perhaps you should be thanking your lucky stars love. LOL
I hope the new neighbours are a one car family, though these days, they are few and far between arn't they.

Our D.I.L phoned this morning, wanting some advice. Our Lilly woke up covered in spots, with watery heads on them, did I think it was chicken pox....yes I did.
After a quick visit to the doctor, it was confirmed that she has got it. Bless her heart, she was so poorly last week, and must have been going down with it then.
D.I.L was worrying about baby Ava catching it, but as I said, it's better she have it now, than when she is older.
Just to think, Ava will be one on the 2nd of May, I really don't know where the last year has gone.

I hope Ann is enjoying her holiday.

Bye for now girls, take care, hugs Mo xxx

Right Jean, if next door is up for rent again, how do you fancy nice friendly neighbours called Mo and Roly, they come with references stating what good neighbours they will make, they are kind, patient, and very quiet.
They keep a clean tidy home, the garden will be well maintained, and the interior will be kept decorated at all times.
I fancy a change of abode, and area, providing the rent is no more than £1.50 a week, we can manage that on our pension. LOL
Seriously, I do hope you get good neighbours love.

Huia love, I know that you have problems with your internet, but I care as a good friend does, when we don't hear from you for a while. After all, we have all been friends on here for a good few years now, and miss each other when there is no news at all.

Sallie, I had forgotten about Jennie and Michael moving in with you...der stupid me.
It will be nice for you, having their company, even if it is only for a short while.
Perhaps it's just as well that you and Alun, didn't downsize your house when you wanted to move that time.
Is it a greater distance for Michael to get to work now? Once they get better off financially, they may move closer to you both.

LOL Sylvia, my winter woolies are still in full use, even though the sun has been shining, it's still a bit on the chilly side most days.
I have to admit that I have changed to a lighter weight coat, as the proper winter one is a bit to heavy.
When we go to Yarmouth at the end of May, I think I shall pack two cases, one with woolies and trousers, and the other with summer gear, I don't want to get caught out.
Thank goodness the snow has started to melt where your daughter lives. It has laid for weeks now hasn't it.

My garden is starting to look quite good, the bluebells I transplanted into pots last year, are now in full bloom, and look glorious, the fuscia bushes are really starting to sprout. The only trouble I have, is the blessed garden of the house over the back of us, has started growing weeds by the bucket load, and the rotten bind weed has started coming under the fence again. It's a never ending job trying to keep it clear, as fast as I pour weed killer under the fence, they seem to thrive on it.
We complain to the council every year, about her lack of garden maintenance, but it makes no difference, she clears it once a year, and the garden must feel like it's it's birthday when that happens, a lazy lazy young woman thats what she is.

Well my lovelies, I will say bye for now, take care, hugs to you all, Mo

Hi Mo, and everyone

Mo ...... I cannot believe that that stupid woman let a child get too much sun. Obviously needs re-training before she is allowed to be in charge of them again.

it really feels like spring is really here ............... it has got so warm that I had OH bring up a couple of boxes containing my "spring and summer" tops and skirts

I have now almost completed the switchover ............... but being a true Brit, I still a couple of warmer tops left in my closet "just in case"

Daughter tries to sketch or paint every morning, and emails a picture of what she has done ................. today it was of the first crocus flowers in her garden. She said the snow only melted a week ago, and now the spring flowers are blooming :-)

Don't worry about me, Mo, just worry about my computer. The last few days I have had the greatest trouble just getting into the NZHerald and GR, on both google chrome and internet explorer, and even when I do get in they don't want me to see more than the first page. No problems with other sites though.

Jean, what new neighbour ? Have I missed something...I thought they had a little one, that was quite friendly to you both. Or is this the neighbour the other side that has just done a bunk. Curious and even curiouser if you ask me. LOL
Is everything now in your nice new freezer?
Tomorrow, we are having new pipe work in the bathroom, and nice new lino laid, this needs doing following the leak we had a few weeks ago.

Hope you are all well, Sallie, Ann, Sylvia, Marie and Huia, it seems ages since we heard from you, you know what a worry guts I am when we hear nothing for a while.
Take care of yourselves please.

Night god bless, Mo xxx

Hi, folks, the freezer has arrived :-D :-D :-D no more defrosting, ;-) ;-) ;-)
its quite funny here at the moment, we have the new freezer in place and have to wait before we can put our food out of the old one, which is now outside still full of food extention lead is through window so said freezer can be plugged in... :-S :-S :-
are you? later on we will put the food in the new freezer ;-) ;-)
we had it delivered today as it would have cost £ 35 on any other day but free on Sunday...which works out better as D and J can sort it all out and I can just watch ;-) ;-)

Elizabeth , have a nice weekend with your family too. so nice of you to remember us.

Hope the sun is still shining where you are Ann, its nice here but quite cold...

Thank you Elizabeth, we hope you and your family have a nice weekend as well.

Ann, I agree with you that it was appalling about what happened to Lilly. Thankfully, she is back to her mischievious self again.

Nothing exciting has happened here today, so I just hope that you are all well, and enjoying lovely weather.
Take care everyone, Mo xxx
