Well, being nosey I too picked up your news from the friendly thread Mo.

Congratulations on the arrival of Gracie-Mai great gran.

That was very naughty of your Granddaughter, had she had a row with her Mum? It sounds as if she was punishing her for something. I would be inclined to tell her later how sad you feel that she should treat her Mum like that and ask her how she would have managed without her Mum to buy all the things for her. But children of any age will always play off the parents against each other when they are no longer together. Maybe it gives them a feeling of power.

I'm sure it would have hepled you feel less weepy, if your son Michael, had called and sent you a card for Mothers Day.

Hope you can manage to find a photo to put on here. My problem was, that I didn't how to put a photo on here.....but with Ann's clear instructions I actually did it. Thank you again, Ann.



Caz, I can imagine everyone going to Cocky first, especially if he starts to speak to them as soon as they arrive there....as I'm sure he doeslol!!

Marie I get that error up a lot on this site, I click on the refresh button at the top, the two green arrows one up and one down, it brings the proper page up. It is so annoying and only happens on this site.
Thanks Sylvia for saying that about Cocky, everyone falls in love with him he is so funny at times, whenever anyone calls, district nurses or chiropodist etc they all go to him first to talk to him, I seem to be an afterthought, lol.

Marie, the researching bits are added on 'My account' page.

I dont know how I got the trigger finger, it just comes. It is something to do with arthritis. The jab was rather painful but I was able to drive home afterwards, thank goodness. I arrived home about 5 hours ago, but my server has been playing up and I was only able to get on the computer 10 mins ago.

We havent had any frosts yet, Marie. I think Marilyn is back as she has been on the Friendly thread, although I suppose she could be posting from America.

Must finish looking at the threads before I head to bed.

I have finally managed to get on to the post .
I tried several times to day but it kept saying ERROR ERROR we cant take you to this Page, in the end I gave up.

Health wise still not very well,Knee is slowly getting better.actually feeling very down,I think it is only because i am still unwell.

I must say it was a suprise to see all the Photo's I think it is great and I also like the Researching bit at the end.
I will have to go through my Photo's to see what I can find before I try to put a photo on.
I been thinking lately that I could do with some pills to help me get to sleep.
Huia, How does one get trigger finger I remembered you had it, I hope the needle isn't to painfull.

It is very cold in Bathurst now 4 frosts in a row ,it finished off my summer veggies. I have a few winter crops in but just havent been well enough to do any more gardening.

It was mother's day here yesterday Barbara Kathleen and children bought me a " BLACK BOY Tree " to plant at the entrance to my native garden I now have two as they bought me 1 for Xmas they are terribly expensive this last one cost them $122 -00 so it wont be able to go in till Summer as it needs to be hardened off before I can plant it.

Mo, my son in Victoria did not ring me for mothers day,same last year and also Xmas and its my birthday on Wed. I dont think he will remember it as he didn't last year , it really hurt's. How is lilly ???

Huia, sorry to confuse you, only we couldn't find the photo of Jay last night, so decided to change it today when we found it.


I thought to change my pcture again in a few weeks with one of Quif, Richard and Christie's guinea pig.

Alun had put some photos on a different folder, including the one of Jay and Quif.

it's Mother's Day here, as well as in a number of other coutnries.

J phoned, so we had a nice little chat.

She said her Mother's Day present was M babysitting MJ while she went to an Ikebana class (that's Japanese floral design).

Sally, I was puzzled when you said your pic was you and your brother as it looked like a dog. This is the only problem with being able to change our avatars, if we read an older posting it doesnt make sense! Ah well, I suppose we will get used to it, but please dont change them too often.

Mo, it is a cortisone injection for trigger finger. I was going to have it a few weeks ago but the day before I didnt think I would be well enough to drive there, so I rang and asked for a change of appointment.

I slept well again last night without the sleeping pill, so am happy about that. If only I could always get to sleep that easily.

Re my avatar, when somebody made several of those pics for me, I saved them to a folder in "My Pictures", so it is just a matter of using them like the photos. I have also saved a lot of other pics that people have used on another website, or in emails.

I haven't heard a thing about my grandaughter Sallie, so I can only hope and pray that all is well.
When the baby is here, I am sure we will hear about it. Our grandaughter is a strange girl, and doesn't even confide in her own mum about things, so the child could be five years old before she tells her mum she's given birth. LOL

Just a quickie to let you know that I am still sweating and swearing.
Good to see all the lovely pics on here, a butterfly, a dog and cocky-too.
And our Jean's Chat line. Actually that sounds very much like this place.lol

Huia, I do hope you get a better nights sleep. And whats this about a jab in your finger, whats it for love. You have probably told us, but you know how forgetful I can be a times.
You say don't do anything you wouldn't do, weeeell that leaves us a lot of scope, you are a real little devil, with some of the things you get up to, ie, chasing rats around the house at night, and going hiking on your own.
I will try and be good, as long as I remember the date, I should be o.k.

So Sylvia, the peace has been shattered now has it, with your OH being home.
Great to hear he had a good time though, just a pity you were not up to scratch to have accompanied him.
Make sure you get the doctor to check you over on Thursday, this has gone on for far to long.

I hope that Sylvia, Huia and Marie have all had a lovely mothers day. Congratulations to you all.

Thanks Ann. As you can see I've now changed my picture...it's of Jennie and Michael's dog, Jay. It was a bit late last night to go through all the pictures we have, so just chose the other photo quickly.



Caz, I would love to to see and hear Cocky. I'm sure he brightens up some of your days quite a lot.

We have two budgies, but regretfully neither of them talk, they chirp quite a lot, and they also imitate the cuckoo on our clock. So we now have two budgies that say cuckoo.lol!!
