We have just had a torrential rainstorm, after a lovely dry day. Did anyone else see the sky last night, we are in West Yorks, it was beautiful, the whole of the sky was red and pink, it's a long time since we have seen anything like that.
I only came on to put the chain of love on for Sylvia, lol.

In case you should pop in again Ann. I hope you are both enjoying yourself.
Whats your weather been like over there, it's been very hit and miss here.
More miss than hit, where the sun is concerned.
How much holiday have you got left, however much you have, enjoy it.

Sallie you have been lucky, being able to get your washing dry. I did manage to get the towels etc out for a while this afternoon, but I have left the rest on the clothes horse to dry.
Hope to speak to you later. Love Mo xxx

Good news about Sylvia, I did add to the other thread to say I will keep her in my thoughts.

Good to see you are all OK, I have peeped in occasionally but the wireless connection has been a bit unpredictable here.

Caz, glad you are recovering from your fall and hope a good spend up at the range gets you back into card making mode.

Jean, Mo, Sallie, Huia, Joyce and anyone I have missed <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 :-D

Hi Mo,

Sorry to hear that your team lost on Monday night, as you say it was very late before you and your friend played your game. Surely the people who organises the matches could do better, he/she must realise that by that time of night the majority of people are tired and not able to concentrate as well.

We've had it dry here today Mo, so have been able to get the washing dry, thank goodness. It won't be long before we are back to striggling to dry it indoors again, oh I hate having to do that. Sorry I'm just an old misery.lol!!

Wonderful news about Sylvia, I've been really worried about her so was happy to hear the news from Cynthia. As you say Mo, Sylvia is such a lovely lady and we shall miss her while she's away, I always enjoy reading her posts, they are interesting and informative.

I spoke to Joyce earlier, she has asked me to pass on her get well wishes to Sylvia and to tell her that she is so pleased that it all went well.

Well I have to go out now, so I might look in later on.

Take care everyone.

Love, Sallie.xxx

Continuing the chain of love and good wishes for Sylvia.

Coooee girls.
What wonderful news about Sylvia, thanks very much Cynthia for updating us. She is such a lovely lady, and we have been so worried about her.
Please send her all our very best wishes, and gentle ((((((((HUGS)))))))))).

Sallie, monday nights darts was a complete disaster for us, we lost 7-8.
I did win my game in the singles, but did not start to play the game till 10.55 pm, that is absolutely rediculous. My friend Eve and myself, have been placed at positions 5 and 6, so by the time we get to play, it is in fact past my bedtime, so my concentration has gone. Still only one more game in this league, and I shant be playing for them next year, I cant be having to sit and wait for a game since 9.00 p.m. it's daft I could be at home having a nice cup of tea.

Caz it's good to hear that you are up and about again. Now dont go overdoing things.
Did you manage to buy lots of crafting bits at the range. I bet once you have bought them, your mind will go into overdrive, and your card making will progress very quickly,as you will want to see what they will look like once made.

Have you all had the rotten rain that we have had all morning. I did my washing first thing, thinking I would be able to put it out, huh... that was a joke, just as the machine was finishing, the heavens opened and it chucked it down, just my luck that is. lol

Still keeping up our chain of good wishes for Sylv's

Cynthia, thank you so much for letting us know about Sylvia, Wonderful news, thank goodness it's all over and that everything went so well.

Please could you please pass on my get well wishes to her and tell her that I'm thinking about her.

Caz, glad to hear that you are feeling better after your fall. Enjoy your trip to the Range with your warden,....I'm sure you'll find what you want and a lot more besides.lol!! That's the trouble going to these craft places, we always end up coming away with more than we went for.

Thank you, yes I'm feeling a good bit better than I've been, at times I have force myself to do things, but I'm getting there.

Cynthia, haven't spoken to you for a long while, hope you and your family are all well. It's nice hearing from you.

Going to finish some cards off now so will speak to you all later.

Love and best wishes to everyone. Sallie.xxx

Thank you Cynthia for letting us know about Sylvia, we were wondering how she went on. She has done very well by the sound of it, will you give her my love and tell her I am thinking of her.
Thank you for your concern Jean and Sally, it shook me up quite a bit but I'm not too bad now. I am going to the Range with my warden near dinner time as she wants quite a few things, and so do I when I think of it so I shall get stocked up. I should be starting my Christmas cards but my brain has gone into hibernation for the time being.
Sally I hope you are starting to feel better now and getting on with your cards.
Hello to all I haven't mentioned but there are so many.

Love Caz xx

Mo, did your team win last night? I hope so.

I'm thinking about Sylvia, and wondering if she's had her op yet. Hope she's had it by now and that it all went well.........read on one of the threads that she was due to have the op at 5pm, UK time, so it should all be over by now.

Caz, hope you are feeling a bit better today after your fall yesterday.

Thinking of you all and hope that you are all alright.

Speak to all soon. Take care.

Hi Girls,

Marie, thank you for your welcome back....it's nice to be back and talking to all our friends on here.

Hope your family reunion will go well for you, you've put so much time and effort in to organising it all, that I'm sure it will all turn out brilliantly.

How are your family all getting along? I bet your grandchildren are really getting quite grown up now. It would be nice if we could keep them as children a bit longer as the time passes so quickly.

Are your daughters and their children all going to the reunion too?

Mo, hope you and Roly are okay. Are you playing in a darts match tonight?
I know you usually play on a Monday night, unless it's changed.

It was lovely having most of us back on here yesterday, hope it will continue that way now as it's been a lonely thread over the last weeks.

Jean, hope all is well with you, Jeff and Debra. I expect you are busy making your cards.

Caz, how are things with you and Phil today? Hope you are feeling a bit better today.

Huia, as the others have already said, the fungus is a beautiful colour ...I love those shades of blue.

Betty, hope all is well with you today. Thinking about you. Take care.

We haven't heard from Tess for a long while, I hope she's okay.

Sylvia, just in case I can't get back on here later on, just wishing you the very best of luck for tomorrows op. Looking forward to seeing back on here again when you are much better, we shall all miss you while you're away.
Sending you lots of hugs and positive thoughts.
