Ann, thank you for your support and encouragement. It's nice to know that you are all here for me.
Yes I'm sure that I will start doing cards again, I thought that I might try and make one or two simple Christmas cards to start with, not for anyone in particular, as that makes it a bit easier

Glad to hear that you and T enjoyed your holiday in the Lakes, despite the weather.
It's a lovely day here today, so let's hope it stays that way for a while.

Lorraine, it's nice to see you posting again. You certainly sound as though you and Specky have been busy with the bracelet making.

Joyce rang me last night her voice sounded hoarse then, at first I thought she had a bad cold, but she said that she was losing her voice. I joked with her, telling her it's because of all the talking she does.lol!!
It was a shame you couldn't make it to the Rotherham meet, it was great. Never mind, perhaps you will be able to make another one sometime.

Hello to all our other friends on here.

Speak to you all soon.

Love, Sallie.xxx

Thanks Mo, hello everyone i will look back, i hope you are all ok, im doing well but dont usually have a min to myself since giving bracelets out to friends , ive been unindated with requests, ive employed specky, he does the charity ones which is the kids ones with names in as i spell them wrong lol.

joyce phoned me this morning but specky answerd, because she has lost her voice specky put the phone down as he just her a husky voice, she phoned back they had a brill meet, sadly the respiraty clinic put on a saturday clinic to cope with back log and i had to go there for a chat to understand the importance of keeping mask on at night i was in there for 10 min, it could of been done over the phone and i could of gone.

will next time though promise.

Jean, glad you liked the e mail.

Sallie, good to see you making yourself post on here. I can't begin to understand what you feel like but it must be pretty horrible to feel that way and I hope our company will cheer you up a little and help you on the way to recovery. I hope too that you soon get back to making some cards, maybe a few simple ones at first to get you enthused again.
Yes we enjoyed the break, always love the Lake District scenery even in the rain, it was just a shame that a couple of days it was too wet to even venture out, although we managed the bar in the evening getting there holding on to each other under a large golf umbrella.
We were lazy though and only went swimming once, although we enjoyed that, it was just too much of an effort to get down to the leisure centre.
I am pleased that you got to the meet. :-)

Good morning everyone, hope you are all ok. Sorry I haven't been on here for a while, things haven't been too good, but the last few days have started to make myself do things again. It isn't easy and it's very slow going but better this way than not making any progress at all.

Ann, hope you had a lovely holiday even though the weather wasn't as good as you might expect for June. Congratulations to both you and T on being together for 56 years. I thought that you hadn't been married that length of time as it wasn't that many years since you celebrated your Golden Wedding.

How is your daughter doing these days? I hope all is going well for her.

Mo, is there any news on J and Lilly's hospital appointments yet?
I hope they have heard something by now.

I went to the meet at Rotherham on Saturday, I didn't want to go but forced myself to and now I'm glad that I did. It all went well, the hotel where it was held was very nice with lovely food and great company.
There were nine of us altogether, three members that we had never met before...... we all got on as though we had always known each other. It's a pity we couldn't have a few more meets during the year.

Jean, glad to hear that you are feeling a lot better now. Glad to hear that you still making your cards. I hope that it won't be too long when I can concentrate enough to start making them again.

Huia, have you had the results of your Colonoscopy yet. If you have I hope that the results are nothing to worry about.

How are things with Phil these days. Hope he is still able to respond to you when you visit him.

It's lovely to be able to play a musical insrument, I really envy you.
Both Richard and Jennie take after Alun's father for music , Richard can play the piano and flute and Jennie can play the piano and clarinet. Alun did start to learn to play the piano when he was a child, but wasn't interested enough so gave it up. Now he regrets doing that and wishes that he had carried on. There you are, we are always after the event, when it's too late.lol!!

Marie, lovely to see you and to know that you are alright. Hope that your daughter is ok after her operation and that she will make a good recovery.

Linda, glad to hear that you and your family had a good holiday in Italy.
Hope your daughter is feeling a lot better now and not having any problems. My cousin's daughter who is 22 was diagnosed with Pancreatitis last year, so like your daughter, no more alcohol for her either.

Caz, sorry to hear that you are still not feeling better from having your kidney infection....I hope that you have managed to speak to the doctor this morning, it sounds as though the antibiotics hadn't quite clearded it. I hope that the doctor has been able to sort it for you today.
You would have loved being at the meet, it's such a shame that you are not able to go out and join us at one. We would all love to see you at one.

Sylvia, how are things with you and OH? Hope you are both OK.

It can't be too long now before your daughter and her family arrive. Hope you get some good weather for their stay with you.

I hope to speak to you later girls.

Take care.

Love, Sallie.xxx

Hi Jean, Although the river was running very high, normally this time of year we can see the stones at the bottom but it was about 3-4 feet deep and people were kayaking down it, it didn't reach flood level thank goodness as 3 years ago the whole hotel on the complex was flooded plus some of the time shares. However, around the lakes and in the fields and on some roads it was flooded, we had a months rain in 24 hours.

Huia I hope your daughter and granddaughter get as much enjoyment from the piano as you did. Do you have Norma's (Persie's) e mail address? If so could you tell her please that it is time to e mail me with her book suggestions etc. She has my e mail but I don't have hers, or can't locate it.

Mo, I have barely played the piano since I gave up choir 3 years ago. Added to which my hands are a bit arthritic now and so dont do what I want. I just hope my daughter and granddaughter will get a lot of use out of it, and take good care of it, since it is almost 98 yrs old having been given to my mother for her 14th birthday.

Mo we will see tomorrow, I will be on that phone 8-30 sharp asking for home visit, doctors is difficult to get my wheelchair in so they have told me they will come to me, Hows that for service, lol. Still not managed to eat much but I need to lose weight anyway so it may be a good thing.
I wonder if Sally is away on holiday, it is unusual for her to stay away for so long, even with her black dog.

Hello girls,
Huia, I am going to take a look at the photo's when I have finished on here.
Does your back ache after all that gardening love. The only thing that slides down our path, is the slugs and snails since we had the new drive laid.
We use plenty of weed killer to kill them off, and then a good stiff broom to sweep them away afterwards.
But I do know how slippery that green slime can make a foot path.
Just think how much more room you will have once the piano goes. But I bet you will miss having it. Do you play it very often now?

Caz love, it does sound as if the last lot of anti-biotics didn't finish clearing the kidneys properly.
I hope your doc gives you something to help you get over this quicker.
Steady on now my love, we don't want you losing to much weight, that you vanish down a drainhole cover. lol

I sent a p.m to Sallie yesterday, but have not heard back from her just yet. So fingers crossed that she is o.k

Sorry, I have not got much news to impart, but I wanted you to know I am thinking of you.

I hope that if Ann and T journeyed home this weekend, that they had a safe journey.

Bye for now girls. Love Mo xxx

Hello all, back from holiday now. thanks for your good wishes, I hope you realised that it is the anniversary of our meeting and starting our relationship rather than a wedding anniversary.

Caz, I hope you can get that infection cleared up, it sounds nasty, also Jean, hope the anti Bs work for you.

I wonder where Sallie is? Although, did I see that she went to the meet on Saturday?

Marie, good to see you on here and I hope that your daughter soon recovers after her op.

Mau, stop making those spells, or if you must make any make sure we all get some good weather. We were lucky travelling down today, only came through one short shower, didn't really need any more after all the rain we had up there, the lakes were in fields as well as where they should be. The Olympic torch got very wet and on Friday the big north swim was called off. More to protect the spectators than swimmers I reckon.

Huia, Linda, Sylvia and anyone else hello hope alla re well. :-D

Hi all, not feeling too good again but calling doc in tomorrow, all I can do is drink. I had a kidney infection a few weeks ago and I'm wondering if it didn't clear up with the anti-biotics. At least I should lose some weight with not eating.

Hello to anybody who is still out of bed. Yesterday morning I spent several hours clearing plants back from each side of the path as some piano movers will be coming on Wednesday to take my piano to my daughter. Son arrived in the late afternoon and dealt with the tougher shrubs, and this morning he sprayed the path with that 30 seconds stuff to kill off moss and slime so it isnt slippery for me or the movers. He has now gone, is going to visit his sister on the way home to Rotorua.

I have put a couple of sunrise photos on my facebook page. I get some good sunrise and sunset photos here.

Hello me lovelies,
Well our Jean, I tried a concoction to make all our unwell friends better, and it doesn't seem to have worked, so I have put me cauldron and book of spells away in the cupboard, ready for Halloween, and thats where they will stay till then.
Hopefully now we will all start to feel better. ;-)
A few bright sunny days may help us all, and perhaps our aches and pains will vanish into thin air.........huh, I can only hope and pray can't I.
I have fair worn a hole in the carpet from being on my knees so often, praying I mean, not grovelling. lol
So o.k Jean, I will beehive meself, just for you, ( sniggers behind her hand, as if lol )
Oh and by the way, next time you have STUFF for your tea, can you put some down the cyber hatch for us to enjoy.

Caz, I am pleased to hear you are going to try to see your doctor on Monday, this infection has gone on for such a long time, and must be really dragging you down.
You have enough other problems without having to put up with this as well.
Take care of yourself my love, and please let us know how you get on.
Sending you ((((((((((HUGS))))))))) <3 <3 <3

Still nothing from our Sallie. I think I shall have to send her a p.m to see how she is, it's not like her to be missing this long, and she is a worry to me.
I know the Black Dog was playing her up a while back, I only hope she has shrugged it off, even though it's not that easy.

Oooh Ann, sorry I didn't realise it was your anniversary. I hope you and T had a nice time celebrating it and congratulations to you both.

Well it's time I loved you and left you, so hopefully I will speak to you tomorrow.
Love and hugs to you all. Mo xxx
