Hi girls, I've had a busy day again, nurse came early on for some blood samples, she took three, then this afternoon the district nurse came for some more, they both took three vials, hope I have some left, lol. At least I will know(or should) what is wrong.
I am so tired as I couldn't sleep again last night with jerky feet, it is so annoying, does anyone else get it, so I am off to bed early.
It's not cold here Mo but been drizzling all day, turning heavier now.
Computer is acting funny so I am going to close it down now.

Love Caz xx

Hi girls, I'm ok at the moment, still learning about it, the doctor popped in this morning and explained a bit about it, it's my blood but something about low platelets, it sounds complicated and I will learn more when I see oncologist on Wed. Why can't I have something simple, lol.

Linda we loved Venice, wish we could have stayed there but we were at Lake Garda, our favourite place the ferries are a great way to travel... we did a two place holiday to Tuscany too.... staying at Lake maggiore for a few days which was so beautiful and then onto a place I cant spell right on the sea front we visited Seinna , and up to the Dolomites breathtaking, it was a bit to hilly for me in Tuscany we were on a coach trip and coaches were not allowed in the towns and villages so we had to trek up steep inclines a lot,........ but we had the best holiday ever on a river cruise Rhine and Mossele wonderful....but alas for us going abroad is not on the cards now, still we have wonerful memeories... I could go on and on....
Sylvia, how are you ? bet a rest is in order now the family have gone home, lovely while it lasts but can be tiring , I find talking a lot tires me, so I wouldnt last long being with Mo who could talk for England and win bronze silver and gold......lol....how you doing my lickle whirlwind, and how is Roly hugs fo him....talking of hugs here are some for our lovely Caz ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( x ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
stay strong petal we are here for you.

Hi Ladies
Thank you Jean will keep an eye on the post and let you know when it arrives.
Italy was beautiful. We were in Venice for 2 days. Rather expensive but such an experience. Not sure what I expected, but it was all so different. No vehicles of any sort, just water transport and guys running around with wheeled trucks. And visitors with wheeled suitcases, ourselves included. We stayed just off St Marks Square. It was very lively, sometimes too many people, but beautiful early morning and at night too. Met some very friendly people, other visitors and local people and so many helped us when we arrived couldn't find our hotel but a kind German gentleman spent about an hour guiding us right to the door and wouldn't even have a drink !! Such a kind man.
We then went on a cruise to some Greek Islands. A day at sea, then Corfu, which was quite green and seemed nice. Next stop Santorini, we found this very hot and nothing much grows there except grapes and olives and cherry tomatoes. Next was Mykanos, very barren a granite rock island with volcanic sand beaches, We enjoyed a tasing of ouzo and greek snacks but don't think we'd want to stay there.
The last trip was at Katakolon and a coach ride to Olympia. Much greener and the Olympic site was very interesting and we saw where the Olympic flame was started. Then we went to a wine tasting and actually bought some olive oil.
Our last day was spent onboard the cruise ship again before getting back to Venice and our flight home.
The cruise was lovely. Very relaxing. Very good food. Expensive drinks !!! Amazing entertainment.... the shows and singers could easily be good enough to get onto a stage in The West End of London.
Jean we were in Tuscany about 7 weeks ago, staying near Pisa, visited Florence and Volterra as well as Livorno.
We were just so fed up with the weather and as hubby has just retired decided to get away..... but you had good weather last week and today I had trouble getting the washing dry with heavy rain and thunder storms here in the south east.
