Hi Jean, we got back late from the hospital, the clinic was running 45mins. late. Anyway Jennie's Consultant was pleased with the results of the tests and as long her next blood test is OK she won't have to have the treatment......but if and when she starts having a problem she will have to start on the treatment straight away. So, we are all are all happy about that.

Sorry to hear that Caz isn't very well, I hope that she'll feel better after she has finished her treatment.

Thinking about you Caz and sending you lots of hugs and positive thoughts. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Ann, Sylvia and Lorraine also thank you to you all for your anniversary wishes.

Sylvia, glad to know that you and OH have arrived home safely from your trip to the cabin.

Mo, have you managed to get the creases out of S's wedding dress.yet. Sorry I can't suggest anything more other what Ann has already said.
Hope you'll have some success get them out.

Well I must go and prepare the dinner ready for later this evening. We are taking Jennie to her hospital appointment by 5.20 p.m.to see her Consultant....she'll get the results of her Colonoscopy, MRI scan and blood tests today, so will know if she has to have to go back on the treatment that she had a few years ago. She is going to come back to have dinner with us as Michael won't be home from work until about 11.30 p.m.

Speak to you all later on.

Take care.

Mo have you tried hanging it in the bathroom when somebody has a shower, the steam may help the creases to drop out. Why is it so creased, have I missed that bit.

Mouth gradually returning to normal although still sore. injections have more or less worn off now. (3 hours).

Mo in Kent Report 28 Aug 2012 14:24

Oooh Ann, I am feeling your pain love. Having an extraction can upset the nerves in the rest of the mouth can't it. It's like when someone loses a limb, they still feel as if it's still there, till the body adjusts to the pains. I hope it settles soon for you.

Good to have you back Sylv's. How was things up at the cabin, all quiet I hope. Did your OH finish the jobs he wanted to get done.?

Right, can anyone suggest how to get rid of the creases out of this flippin wedding dress, apart from steaming it.
I have had it hanging from my curtain track for days now, but leaving the curtains shut so that the sun does not bleach the dress.
It is draped over a chair as well, in hopes that the creases would drop out, but to no avail.
I know the bride would incur some creases, when she sits in the car going to the ceremony, but she is going to looks like a wrinkled prune at this rate. lol

Talk to you later this evening girls. Love Mo xxx

I have done quite a lot for the charity shops so hope fully wont need many more.... glad you liked them.

Hi, Sallie good to see you on here again,of course I got the date wrong :-S
sorry , I had yours and Ann s cards together and that must be the reason still the thoughts are the same...I have nearly made all my christmas cards , well the stock I take to the shops and the hospice, thought I would get them done early as I am trying to curtail the time I spend crafting... although having said that Jeff has just bought me a new cutting and embossing machine , my other one seems to be on the way out.... so looking forward to using the new one...
hope all will be well with Jennie next week. enjoy your celebrations when the time comes ,
Mo, dont overdo it all this rushing about isnt good for someone of your age.... but I expect to read all about what you got up to is it in the sun or the other dailys, or will it be on the news, do be careful
;-) ;-)
hope everyone else is doing o.k. and enjoying the bank holiday ,
take care out there ...love Jean xx

Hi everyone,

It’s been a while since I was last on here. I still seem to be having quite a few bad days which I had hoped would have gone by now. I go back to see the doctor in about three weeks time, I don’t really want to go back to seeing the therapist again, so will wait and see what the doctor says. Alun and I have also been trying to finish decorate the hall, it’s nearly finished now, just a bit of glossing left to do. We’ve also been across to North Wales to the Flintshire Records Office in Hawarden, we are also hoping to go down to Ebbw Vale to the Gwent Records Office in a couple of weeks time.
Jennie goes to the hospital to see her Consultant on Wednesday afternoon, so she will know the results of the Colonoscopy, the MRI scan and blood tests. After being poorly for almost the first half of the year, she is feeling much better now, thank goodness.

Jean, thank you for the Anniversary wishes. Yes, we have been married 45years on Tuesday....don’t know where the time has gone.

Hope things are alright with you, Jeff and Debra. Are you still busy making Christmas cards? I haven’t been able to get any done over the last couple of weeks, what with one thing and another.

Ann, I read on Shaun’s thread that T has a new car, although I can’t remember if you said what colour it is.
Happy Anniversary to you and T for tomorrow. Hope you both have a lovely day. Have you got anything planned?

Alun and I are going down to Richard’s tomorrow evening until Tuesday night. We are taking him and Christie out for a meal to celebrate our anniversary. Next weekend we are also taking Jennie and Michael out for a meal, we are going to the place that they had their wedding celebrations.

Caz, hope that the new tablets will work a lot better for you and that they won’t cause too many side effects. Still thinking about you and sending you lots of hugs and positive thoughts.

Joyce was thrilled that she has met you at last. Sheila invited Alun and I to go up there, so we went last Monday. It was lovely to meet Jan, so I can now put a face to him when he answers the phone. We spent a couple of hours at Sheila’s, as usual, Joyce didn’t stop talking.lol!! It was great to sit and have a good natter with them all.

Mo, hope you and Roly are both alright. When do J and S get married? It might even have been this weekend. If it was, I hope it all went off OK.
How are things with Lilly now? I hope that her problem is now being sorted out and that she is at least a bit better.
Hope everything is going alright with your granddaughter and that she has had the good sense to dump her boyfriend.

Huia, I hope that you are alright and that things aren’t too bad with Phil.

Marie, how are things with you and your family? I hope that everything is alright with you all.

Linda, I hope that you are a lot better now. Are you still busy knitting the bay coats for the hospital?

Lorraine, hope all goes well at the hospital for you. Pleased to hear that your son hasn’t got to go out to the Middle East just yet. Hope he doesn’t have to go at all.
Well done that your daughter has got onto the hairdressing course at the college. Good luck to her and I hope she does well.

Jude, if you are looking in, hope you and your family are all well.

Sylvia, hope that you and OH enjoyed your stay at the cabin, it looks lovely. Not at all how I expected it to look like.

Joyce, if you are looking in, I hope you and Jan had a good trip home. It was nice meeting Jan last week.

Well girls I am going to have a cuppa now, it’s a few hours since I had the last one......I’ll be getting withdrawal symptoms.lol!!

Speak to you all soon.

Take care.

Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

Many congratulations Ann and Sallie. I hope you all have a wonderful day, remembering all the happy times you have had together as couples.

Lorraine, I'm sorry I cant give you any help about the cpap machine, but I hope that they can sort it out for you.
It's very good news about your daughters. So pleased for you love. The youngest deserves her perfume.

Sending love and prayers to our Caz, and also hoping that the new medication helps her.
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I have had a very lazy day today. The lady who is making the wedding cake for Friday, called me into her house this evening, to show me the Lilies she has made for the cake....oooh they are lovely. I think S the bride will be over the moon.
Everything that is needed for the big day, is in our spare bedroom.
S the bride was supposes to be buying a steamer, to get the creases out of her wedding dress, but she is so laid back, she hasn't bought it yet. I can visualise her walking up the aisle in a creased dress. Still thats not my concern is it, I can't do any more than I have.

I hope that everyone has had an enjoyable weekend. I still can't get to grips that it's a bank holiday weekend, it feels like any other weekend doesn't it.
Being retired every day moulds into the next lol

Take care all of you, love and hugs Mo xxx
