Nothing exciting here other than I am one less now so my food bill will probably drop dramatically lol
The dog still smells of anaesthetic and is not quite right in the head yet.Not that he ever is !!.He needs to sleep but will not settle. Is driving me a bit mad now.
I now slap vaseline on at night and that seems to be good.I don't like the smell of tea tree so couldn't bare that on my mouth.

Talking about putting wrong cream in wrong places...and you really couldn't make this one up...when a work colleage told us this we ached with laughter literally............

Her and her husband we're on holiday nd the poor blokes piles started playing him up, (he blaimed change of diet) anyway he was in so much pain on night he rubbed what he thought was cream to take away the soreness...and it turned out to be lip balm!!! She made us pee ourselves as she said.........."Well he always does talk out of it!"

Back later after tea. ☺

Sorry Helen, did not intend for you for waste any wine pmsl!

Hello Arctic Blonde - my, you have been very busy, you must be fair worn out!

I had a small salad of our own grown veggies last night. I was thinning out some of the lettuces and added some spring onion thinnings too, and home grown radish - boy what a difference the taste is.

OH has planted some peas and leeks - we have never grown any vegetables at all so its all new to us. OH has even started a compost heap out of the old built brick bbq.

Tina I actually think I just used it too much and too often.I liked the cold feeling and just kept plastering it on.I will leave it for a few weeks and then try again and see what happens.

Menthol is rather a strong oil, so it could be, perhaps the receipe in the balm may have had too much of it on this occasion.

Tina x

EDIT - In fact I would be inclined to send it back to them letting them know, it may be a batch fault. :)

Would the menthol make it feel like my lips were burning? I have probably used it far too often.I will stay clear of it now even though it was good.

Hello Helen - yes the icrecream were the offers from T*sco lol - wish I got two packs now instead of one! I am not generally an icecream person, but do enjoy the occasional Magnum, especially the white one. I did try their limited edition very dark one last year and that was just to die for lol.

Glad you got your lip balm sorted. It may have been the menthol.

Lol Tina.My sister did a similar thing and rubbed hand balm into her lips instead of lip balm.I think it was Burts Bees !!!.
Talking of Burts Bees ,I have been using the lipsalve for ages ,but I think I have become allergic or something as my lips have become very dry and sore.Weird!! Maybe it was the menthol or something.Have gone back to the normal one ,and within a day my lips feel fine.
Was your Magnum the special offer ones from Tes**?? I got a couple of packs but someone has found them !!!!They are yummy aren't they.

Oh forgot to say - they will make you laugh

In work I find I can type much faster with hands that have been moisturised. So yesterday afternoon, as I wanted to get a spurt on with a certain job opened up my drawer and took out the little handcream I had in a gift set at Christmas - just the right size for your office drawer.

Opened up the top and went splodge with the cream, thought it looked a tad odd, but rubbed in it nonetheless, and then realised it did not quite feel right, a bit sticky in fact.

Was only rubbing in bloomin shower gel onto my hands!

That will teach me to put my specs on when looking at any tubes! LOL

Morning Ladies,
I have a weird dog on my hands today.I think he is still suffering the effects of the anaesthetic.I suppose as he is nearly 10 it takes a bit longer to recover. He is snoring his head off at the mo.
I hope you are all going to have a nice weekend and that the weather is kind.
