I heard my voice many many years ago on a recording - it was appalling, a proper Bristolian accent. It has since improved. I used to do the announcements at a House of Fraser store I worked at. Plus all the recordings for discounts etc were me too lol. It was most bizaare to go around the store and hear myself lol.

Jane congratulations on achieving 28 years of marriage. Your day out on Sunday to Rushton Hall sound wonderful.

People say I have a nice voice, but when I have heard a recording I sound like a script writers impression of a real country bumpkin, which I am not. I have just lived in the country a long time!

Well I have just watered the back garden with help from the dog.He just loves water and when the hose and sprinkler bit get going so does he lol.So he isn't a hotdog any more!! I hope we don't have any hosepipe ban this summer as we have a very large garden with lots of new plants and a small veg patch.

It's our 28th wedding anniversary tomorrow.I can't believe it really. We aren't going out ,but on Sunday I thought it would be a good idea to use my 'Afternoon Cream Tea Voucher that my daughter bought for Mothers Day.It is at a place called Rushton Hall,so to be able to sit in the courtyard on a sunny day stuffing ourselves with sandwiches ,scones and cream and allsorts of other goodies will be great. No cooked dinner that day!!!!!!!! I shall probably feel sick afterwards lol

Good Morning Everybody

What a glorious morning - well it is here in Bristol anyway blue sky and sunshine and its hot hot hot already. Not nice for those ladies who suffer from flushes - think it might be a bad day for that.

Going to strip the beds this morning and get the bedding done, just the right day for it - only thing is I hate making the beds back up again later on -lol I will be huffing and puffing struggling with the duvet!

Hello everyone

Lovely to see a few old faces coming back.

I dont mean aged lol

OH was late coming in from helping a friend so its all gone a bit haywire today. I only took my tablet at 7.15 and had my tea after that. I have had some water and milk but no juice or caffeine. I refuse to not have any drink whatsoever. I will keep a spreadsheet of everything I drink now and the times the tablets are taken. I already did a spreadsheet of the night walks, my GP was most impressed and said he wished all his patients were more prepared! lol (Did I mention that before - I am sure I am going loopy) lol.

Fiona, what a bargain that is for your hair, gosh it would cost three times as much where I live. One of my work colleages paid over £100 for a tint!

Jane, glad your daughters interview went well, fingers crossed now and what will be will be.

Jean, my wee walks are to do with my legs filling up with water during the day, and as the vascular sysem is defective cannot pump the fluid back up, until I lay down in bed at night. As I have not had any children my pelvic floor should be ok. Thus the need for water tablets to try and get rid of any excess, which is working, I have only been getting out of bed 3 or 4 times in a night instead of the 5 or 6 or even 7 times on odd nights. :))

well it's 9.00 and all I can now have is water, so I have a pint glass in front of me. talking about going for a wee walk in the middle of the night , I expect to have to go several times, only hope when I get up in the morning I will have something left for the sample I need to take to the doctors.
I'm off for a visit to the bathroom and I'll have a bath and read my book to keep my mind of food , I am going to miss my bedtime hot milk tonight
BOO HOO!!!!

Hi Jean ,nice to hear from you again.I'm lucky I don't have to get up in the night for a wee walk.It is only when I wake and the tinnitus keeps me awake for a while I think oh well I might as well go.

Hello Easter Bunny!!!

Daughter felt her interview went well ,but as she says Who Knows She hopefully hear one way or the other next week.

I found that only drinking before a certain time meant that my wee got too strong and made me uncomfortable. soon went back to my evening cuppas. I have found since doing physio, which involves lots of squeezing of muscles in the bottom half, that I am only gettin up once in the night.
We have a home hairdresser, cuts my OH's hair, cuts and blow dries mine, for £15, so I wont be going to any salon any time soon!
