Morning girls
Hope you've all slept okay and are in your answering the door clothes!! Can totally relate to that.
Had a good shift, and am going to have my breakfast and then read of the paper and then...bed. Ahh lovely, bed to myself!
AB, no you're not not alone, I've never heard Susan Boyle sing either!!
Anyway have a good day, be back later after my kip.

Dont worry about bed bugs AC, it will be the May Flys coming in, horrible evil b*uggers. The reason why I dont have any windows open, or just a crack, so anything May Fly size cannot get in.
Nite nite everybody

Hi ArticBlonde. I have two fans going tonight one down stairs & one upstairs, we had a breeze earlier on but thats disappeard now. little boy across the road (he'll be 2 in October) had a paddleing pool out this afternoon.and I was in fits of laughter watching him. his mum was supervising of course and she was tring to encourage him to get in the water, but he kept saying" no cold mummy" and mummy kept saying "no it isn't" and he kept repeating "no cold mummy" he was getting really annoyed and just as mum was about to turn around little Callum went and took his temper out on the nearest plant pot, and pulled the all the petals of the flower as you can imagine Mummy was not happy.

Evening ladies another lovely day here , weather man says it's going to cool down by thursday but stay dry and to expect rain again by friday. Don't mind at all we have had fantastic weather over the last few days. we have a nice cool breeze now I'm sitting at the computer with the window open. The past few nights we have slept with the window slightly open. and just a sheet on top thats great till about 5.00 then I start to feel chilly and have to put the quilt back on. but by the time it's 7.00 I'm feeling the heat again.
Tried today to get my dad to take off his jumper and jacket, but no he would'nt budge. I am gasping looking at him,
Goes to day centre every day in this weather with a vest, long sleeved shirt, tie, Jumper and a sports jacket. on and his trilby yesterday I managed to coax him to put a short sleeved shirt on but he had to wear a tie. Keeps saying to me when he's see's my bare feet in sandels" haven't you got cold feet with no socks on ".

Gracious me Jean, you mean to tell me you hoisted yourself into a bra this morning lol.
I am going around as nature intended, except that I dont think they were intended to hang around the midruff area, why do things go south as you get older?
I am lovely and cool in the lounge now, have told OH I might sleep down here tonight, its going to be worse than last night I feel.
Jane, I had to laugh at your friend going around in his underpants. I remember a friend of ours when we were on holiday forgot his swimming trunks and I said to him go and have a swim in yer knickers (I call men or womens undergarments knickers) if they are still damp by the time we have to go back to the holiday home just whip them off and put your dry shorts on, he looked horrified, but in the end did as I suggested (I think he quite liked it really!).
Pam, I feel for you working in this heat, it must be unbearable. :((
Arctic Blonde, ~~~~hello~~~~ unfortunately, I have no idea what you are on about regarding your PC, so therefore obviously cannot help.
But hope you get it sorted soon.

Jean my bra has been off all day(other than when I nipped to the local shop).I often wonder why we are trussed up in these things.They can get so uncomfortable.I wouldn't mind going braless if my boobs were in the same place as they were when I was young lol But they aren't so perky these days!!!!!!.Not perky at all really .

Its nice to have friends you can relax with, Helen. They have to take us as they find us as we neither of us are ones for dressing up. Gets much hotter I will have to take my bra off, the heat is so uncomfortable.! Cant tell the difference between a hot flush and results of the weather today. Even OH said it's too hot to work, and that is a real miracle.

My friend Fitz turned up just as I was shaving my legs.I had just done one ,so the other had to wait lol.He said he wouldn't look and compare legs.I was also still wearing what I had on this morning.What a good job I have known him for 20 odd years.I remember years ago when both our children were young and they came round for a BBQ ,it was a very hot day and there were lots of big super soaker water pistols about,and he was running around the garden in his underpants.He is such a character lolol

Hi girls,
Phew yeah you're not kidding about it being a hot night,! got up twice for a wee and had several hot sweats.
Have been pottering in the garden, been putting more plants in as I love container gardening. I have plants in all sorts of containers as well as conventional ones. I've got three old watering cans and buckets (metal) that belonged to my dad and have plants in them, they look really nice.
I'm working tonight, so if i'm not back later will speak again tomorrow afternoon I expect...keep safe and enjoy the rest of your day ladies.

Typical,the postman has rung the bell with a book from Amazon.I opened the door and stuck my head round,apologised for my attire and he scuttled away quite speedily.LOL I wanted to do a little weeding out the front but as it means I have to put something different on I will give it a miss.Any excuse lol. I hope your budgie appreciates that you only sprayed him cos you don't want him falling off his perch with heat stroke.My Chester keeps going out and standing by the hosepipe and looking at me hopefully.I have promised he can get a good soaking a little later.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~WAVES FRANTICALLY AT JANE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
LOL
Dont worry, I am in what is a dress, but I use for a nightie/lounge item, (the reason that came about is because I am known for slouching in my nightie and when my friend knocked on the door one afternoon and seen me in my new dress!!! said I knew you would still be in your nightie, so since then, thought does everybody think it looks ike a nightie therefore have not worn it outside) so if anybody came to the door I am respectable,although like you have disposed of the under-carriage hold up lol.
I was going to do the small junk bedroom today but the sun shines from the back all morning, so will have to wait until it is around the side of the house and a bit cooler.
Its too hot for me outside.
Have just cleaned the budgie out, so he is cleaning himself now in temper lol, I sprayed him with some cold water, he is a typical boy - hates having a bath! lol
Good morning folks
What a hot sticky night it was last night - phew!
Had an awful night sleeping and walking! Think I drank too much blueberry/pomegranite juice yesterday - but it was so refreshing and yesterday was soooo hot.
The fridge freezer has decided to pack in thank you very much in the hottest week of the year! Will have to beg freezer space in next doors freezer. Good job there is not much in there.
Where are you all, I am usually the last one to come on and its nearly lunch time, well 10.45ish. lol
Have a good day - keep cool
Evening ladies It's been another lovely day, clouds started to show about 5.30 and a cooler breeze came up , but we still had or dinner outside. sun went down earlier tonight than the last two nights , I hope that doesn't mean the weather is going to be back to normal tomorrow mind you 3 days in a row of fantastic sunshine you can't complain. I think this weather has been very unsual for the UK. Jane , Have you had a nice time celebrating your wedding Anniversary. Hope you enjoyed your day.
our garden is really looking great spent all weekend putting in plants and now they are a lovely splash of colour. OH made 3 trips to the council tip with all the garden rubbish while I swept up, and it was a delight to sit and look at a tidy garden. I'll say goodnight now. Hope everyone had a lovely day. night night XXX
