Fiona I've got my fingers crossed for you too, I'm sure we all have...lets hope these new tabs don't make you feel poorly.

Glad all is back to normal Jean...it really makes you appreciate things when you go without them doesn't it!!

Am off over to see my son in a while...so if I'm back late will speak tomorrow girls.

Hi Tina if you're looking in. ☺

This lunchtime, just as I had plated up the dinner came a knck at the door and two workmen to look at the heating. having checked the airing cupboard and listened to what we said, one went up in the loft and found the trouble. The ball-cock on the header tank had stuck and there was no water in the system! I have been complaining about the system for 1 yr now and the boiler is finally getting serviced next Monday! To cut a long story short, we now have hot water and heating if we need it.

That's good Fiona, hope these new pills suit you better......fingers crossed too.

We are plagued with the tiny red spiders at the moment and they are managing to come inside through the window vents too. I keep thinking they can crawl in my ears at night, so am not very relaxed when I go to bed........might be why I am dreaming so much!!! lol Luckily after about 3 weeks they will disappear.....until next year......sighhh!!

Dr phoned and has changed the pills got to go and collect the new perscription this afternoon, hope the new ones do the trick this time.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Afternoon ladies
I'm sitting here working on the computer waiting for a phone call from my doctor , so I can explain that the pills she perscribed to me for cholestral gave me a rotten upset stomach and made me feel very sick.
I'm hoping she will perscribe a different one, I couldn't get an appointment to see her for another week so the receptionest said I could have a phone consiltation. keeping fingers crossed , that she sorts it all out.

Morning All,

Haven't been sleeping well the last few nights.........you know what I mean, too hot, then cold, keep waking up, dreaming more than usual, pillows seem to feel awkward for my neck, finding quilt on the floor!! I wonder if its worth going to bed some nights!! lol.

Agree with you Pam, gawd knows how they manage in hot countries where they don't have air conditioning.

Like your poem AB.......my last line would be.......

End up with Perce Peration

Have been without heating or hot water since Friday. Had forgotten what a chore it is to boil the kettle evry time you want hot water, and we needed the heating Friday evening , it was so cold. The housing association sent a gas fitter who knew nothing about oil boilers and wasnt qualified to do electrics. Got on to the office again, and they were going to send the same man again but OH lost his rag and said WE Want an Electrician to repair the old immersion heater. We knew they wont do anything about the oil boiler as I have been nagging for twelve months to get it serviced and it is now scheduled for the 15th. They missed out last years service altogether.Oh , wenow have an immersion that works and have hot water, borrowed a convector heater from neighbour.(one we sold her afew years ago as we never used it!)

That Tina is a lot noisier on here than 'in the flesh' so to speak. But she is a lovely person, quite shy. Shame she has left, but she looks in I know she can't keep away.

Morning girls, it's very quiet on here without Tina, Jane and Lorraine.

AB where are you?!

Had a 'not to bad' a night, though woke a couple of times as hubby was snorring well!

These cooler nights are better though...wonder how women in really warm countries deal with these old night sweats?!

Back later.

Pam.

Evening ladies, expect you've all gone to bed...our son has been on the internet and i couldn't get on!!

Yes Jane, lavenham does have old beamed houses, very pretty.

AB I'd like to have a cat myself actually...but can't for the reason that i have a bad bird phobia...I love moggies, but if they brought a bird in I'd go hysterical!!

Oh well, will say night night if anyone's still up.
