Hello ladies,
I haven't posted before and haven't read all your 120+ pages but I know what you're going through. I'm 47 and have taken to keeping spare nightware under my pillow.
I thought you might like to hear about a friend of mine who would get through her hot nights by sitting in the garden in her nighty, it was fairly secluded so all was fine, until one night... when the local police helicopter came over... with it's heat seeking equipment!!! Knowing she would stand out like a beacon she scurried indoors and spent the next hour worring about what to tell the policemen when they came hammering on her door searching for criminals. Thankfully they never did come but needless to say her nights in the garden have ceased!
Personally I just think about all the calories I must be burning to produce all that heat.

I love my hubby too ,although he being a bit of a grumpy arse tonight.Mainly cos I was on the phone and his dinner was a tad late !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUT ,yes nothing wrong with having a peep or two at some nice looking men.
There is just something about continental men that is so ........sexy ....yummy....gorgeous.....just different than my OH LOL.Good job he can't see this!!!!

☼ Pam ☼ Report 22 Jun 2009 14:46

Yes plenty of 'eye candy' actually...a good tip is to keep your sunglasses on, you can pretend to be looking at husband but really you haven't got a clue as to what he's on about (about cars normally, yawn!) and weigh up all the nice continental men!! My hubby is lovely really, I love him to bits...but no harm in looking.

Got my washing dry, nice and dry here in Norfolk.

Am working tonight, they rang me earlier as one of the girls has gone sick. So if I'm not back on later, speak tomorrow afternoon I expect.

Afternoon all
It's so humid here today, Cloudy , rain has been threatning but nothing has come. Just been told I am no longer needed to go on nursery summer trip tomorrow . some of the children have gone on holiday and others are not well, so numbers are down , never mind I can have a lie in as I have already arranged someone to be with dad till the bus comes.
I'm a little disapointed, but it will give me time now to get my papers ready for Family history trip tomorrow night.

Glad you had a good time away Pam.

no 2 daughter off to uni to sort out all her grades she is really down at the moment ,loaded with cold and has conjuntiveitis,
It's time she was home and getting some T L C from mum & dad.

Morning ladies,

Just been catching up on the posts.

We came back a little bit later than planned as the weather was so lovely! We had a lovely time, I ate far too much and drank more than normal too...that old wine is very nice!! It some how tastes nicer when you're over in France and Belgium...cou;dn't live there as I'd end up an acholholic (can't spell!) We we're sitting in this lovely little restaurant in Ypres, not far from thr Menin Gate, and there was a chap about mid thirties at a guess, he was so good looking I could have looked at him all day...but unfortunately my hubby kept talking to me so I had to look at him instead!! ha ha!

We stayed until 8pm and listened as they played the Last Post at the Menin Gate, very very moving. You probably know that they do this every evening, quite right too. I have been to Ypres many times and I love the place, I remeber going there a few years back with my dear dad.

Glad to be back in my own bed though!

Sorry to hear about your girl Fiona. I know a very rude joke about knees up...but I know we'd be wooshed!! I had a few knees ups while I was away...must be something in the water!! ha ha!

Back later ladies.

I am hoping for a decent sleep tonight ,last nights dreams were totally bonkers.as they usually are lol.I keep wishing I could remember to take a note pad and pen to bed to write down these dreams when I wake in the night. They wouldn't make any sense ,but I think would be a laugh!!!!!!!!

afternoon ladies
I am late ontoday as been busy doing a job for no 2 daughter. her exam results came into day and she has got lower grades than she expected. so she was very upset and had to be sent home from work, it means she will have to resit some of her course work again instead of going into do her honours , she is extreamly disapointed.

(pregnant boss not in to work so my daughter can go in ,she has not developed the mumps from her boyfriend, and she has only one more week and every thing is back to normal for work shifts)

I have been scanning and sending all her results by e-mail to her,
I will post the original papers tomorrow so she can go into uni and talk to her course lecturer. about what her plans are next, She's in Galashiels and all I want to do is give her a big hug & I can't BOO HOO!!!

I thought it was hot last night......woke up and was pushing bedding down, dangling legs out. I thought the window was shut, but it was open. I always have it open, but the pollen makes my nose stuffed up and I think the room is stuffy, then think the window's shut. Ohh to sleep all night and wake up with energy!! lol

Easter Bunny Report 19 Jun 2009 16:07

I have a ceiling fan in the bedroom too Helen.Wasn't too hot last night
but didn't get much sleep.Gary,my hubby lay awake for hours too.Hopefully we shall both get more sleep tonight.
I often have a dream that I have forgotten to take my tablets.Had this dream again the night before last that I was looking in the bedside drawer for my tablets and woke up to find I actually had the drawer open and was holding my manicure set in one hand...now that did worry me.lol
Funny thing is I have never kept tablets in there because grandaughter is always opening drawers so keep them in the top kitchen cupboard.
Hope I don't start sleepwalking next.
