Lorraine ,what a cheeky cat !!!!!!! Has he done it before.Do you know where it is from?It isn't a stray is it?
I have a ton of washing and ironing to catch up on so better get cracking.I have one eye on the line as it is looking a bit like rain on the way.

Hi everyone
Lorraine like Jane I also have visited San Gimigano while were were on holiday , Tuscany is a lovely part of Italy we have been to several times. we usually stay in a villa there .

AB. Marsden Grotto thats my home land, I come from Sunderland and many times loved to go there to the Marsen Grotto pub for a drink or take my kids on the beach, my part of the coastline is seaburn & Roker beach thats where I grew up, mind you it was always to cold to go swimming.

Glad you are OK ,after your tumble. My sisters cat (one of them) loves to catch frogs. She is always seeing him with a leg stuck out the side of his mouth lol. They have a pond in the garden ,so easy picking I reckon !!
Is there a reason why you have never been abroad?Or do you just like to stay in G B?.I love going abroad, but find the travelling a bit of a pain.

When my OH decorates I stay well out of the way.It is the best thing lol
Have picked a load more peas and dwarf beans to have with the roast.Had to clear the weeds in between the runner bean wigwams as I would never get in there to pick them when they are ready.
I am hoping to go back to Venice next year Lorraine. It has to be I think my favourite place.

Remember when it was the usual thing to put things like jelly on the window sill to set, and cakes to cool! Werent there any flies then!

LOL Ann .My sandals would turn the food in the Freezer. If my kids thought my shoes were in there they would refuse to eat anything that came out of there!!
I always remember when I was living in the Nurses Home and had a small room. The only place my shoes could go was out on the window ledge.,And when I looked out everyone elses shoes were on their ledges too lol.
I have a pot of Sudocrem,it is very useful.

Lorraine ,have a wonderful 2 weeks away, whenever it is you go,and I hope your cat is OK now after the storms.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you to whoever it was that mentioned Sudocrem on here. I had some really rough skin on my elbow and put some on it for a couple of days....completely gone now.

I tried a tip I read about putting sandals/trainers in the freezer overnight in a plastic bag to kill the bacteria that cause smells. Not only does it do that, cool sandals on a hot morning were bliss for about 20 mins.

6 weeks is a long time AB. My OH always seems surprised when he is off and I say I need to put washing on or hoover......perhaps he thinks it does itself!! lol Still, it is nice to have a change of routine.

Am working a night shift tonight, so expect I'll be back later tomorrow or Sunday...keep safe everyone, speak soon.

Hi Jane, only you here?
Hope you have a good shop at Tes** , OH & I will be going out later today to Morr***** to do our weekly shopping not needing a lot as I stocked up a bit last friday as daughter no 2 was here the last few days,

She has just been on the phone feeling quite down, her boyfriend Jake(Mumps person) is leaving on Saturday to go and live with his father in South Africa, seemingly the father runs a bed & breakfast place,( no Idea where in South Africa.) Jakes parents are divorced and remarried to other people. mother lives Inverness, but Jakes decided he wants a change of scenery, Daughter no 2 knew this was happening and both of them tried not to get to envolved, but still the are good friends they have known each other from Uni for the last year, so I am sure they will miss each other.

I used to enjoy ironing on a Mnday afternoon, listening to the play on the radio, but the job has been pinched off me by OH and I dont know if they still have a radio play. I stopped listening when they began to go all american and kept on shouting at each other.
