Jane Report 19 Apr 2009 21:54

Well I am East Midlands (Kettering ) I know Marilyn is Devon.I can just picture it .Meet at a motorway services and a long queue for the loo before any introductions lol.Actually the meet would most likely be in that queue !!!!!(I'm Just looking at the spelling of queue) is that right ??.It looks odd.

I wonder if its possible for us to meet - seriously?

Not sure where some of you live, I know where one of you lives.

Perhaps a London meet or somewhere central to us all. Of course if any of you are out of the British Isles that may be a bit difficult lol.

Tina xx

Edit - ~~~~~goodnight~~~~~~ to Marilyn

Just logged back on. Well if we meet I will be the one with

about three pairs of spectacles on one around my neck one on top of my head and wearing a pair

one or two walking sticks

a large holdall, with spare knickerage and T.Lady etc in case of an niagara fall episode

possible a wig cos I am going thin on top too, so that will be a totally unsuitable one of a lovely hue - not decided which colour yet

and I might be in my comfy dark slippers by then too !

LOLOL

Susan

OH was perfect once....as I was LOL
But it all goes wrong in later years .......

If only one could turn the clocks back ,I wouldn't have plucked my eyebrows to start with ,as I've got none left now !!

Probably wouldn't have smoked( I gave up 20yrs ago) because I've got them crows lines on my lips and they need filling in LOL

My OH would run a mile if I went near him with a pair of tweezers or scissors. His hairdresser though will do his eyebrows and ears.I think he just doesn't dare say anything and lets him do it.

Helen I have to do my hubbys appearance
I have to look after hubby's nostrils, or tel him to hover them out.
then comes the eyebrows they gotta be cut back, followed by the hairs on the ears.
I tell him your lucky that I look after your appearance .

If it was not for me you would look like Worsel Gumage oh did I spell that right ? LOL

It is a pity us ladies feel we have to hide these things .Can you imagine the men doing the same?

Helen, you sound like you just enjoy a good giggle. Life is too short to be miserable all the time. We all have such rotton things happen in a course of our lifetimes so you have to laugh or you'd cry as the saying goes!

The elderly residents where i do my night shifts (I'm at a regular place now) always ask when i'm next in work as i make them laugh...better than any medicine i reckon!

I have a friend, the one who i went shopping with the other day and she's 39. She always (and so do i actually) have to wear an Always Ult*a when we go shopping together as we get the giggles...as my beautiful daughter of 23 says to me..."Mum Behave!" She lovely, a bit like Saphie out of Ab Fab!
