Sharron Report 14 Apr 2009 20:30

Thought I had better clarify what I meant this morning.

When the hormones made me very vile instead of just average vile,we always said it was the whores moaning again. Always call hormones whores moaning.

I haven't heard from mine for some time and they are having another try at doing whatever they used to do again in a half-a**ed fashion and I would rather they hadn't been reminded of what they could do.

On top of the cold and sore knee I could do without the whores as well!

Ah, Sharron, now I understand what you were getting at, it was not that clear this morning and I was wondering who the wh**es were!

Hope you are feeling better this evening and that your cold will soon go away, thats enough to drag anybody down a cold. A sore knee too, not having a good time of it then. It always comes in three's, good news or bad!

Hi Tina, it's not too cold here and the sun has just come out. I put the heating on for a bit yesterday evening as it was a bit nippy. We're not to far from the coast you see.

Had a bad night last night and was still awake at 3.30am. Got up about ten as I was catching up I suppose, but feel very achey and tired! I'll take an ibuprofen in a while. I have wondered if it's the night shifts that put my sleep pattern all off course, but I only do about six a month and as I don't sleep so well I do them instead of days.

Hope everyone is fine.

Still ladies, at least we can tell our friends we were 'hot' in bed last night!!!!!! lol

I know what you mean about being cold as well as hot.....my cheeks will be burning (cue for OH to ask which ones?) yet the tops of my arms will be cold. I used to love my jimjams in winter, but they soon got chucked out when this all started...too much hassle to get 'exposed' to the cooler air!!! lol Just when you've got more you wanted to cover up as well!!!!

I went to the Menopause clinic at our local hospital at first and they had various people do talks for us. Fair dues to him, my OH came along because, as a manager he thought it was important he should know what ladies were going through so that he would have an understanding and could be more supportive to them in their jobs when things were difficult for them. It really opened his eyes and he thought all managers should attend this sort of thing.

When I was at work we each did stints in the post room. Because we would be handling money, passports etc and the volume of post was large, for security the door would be locked and no-one allowed to leave for about 1 and a half hours until everything was opened and accounted for and all the wastepaper bins double checked and empty envelopes rechecked. This could be really difficult for ladies at a time of unpredictable and erratic cycles and I recall using 'protection' just in case and 'double protection' in case I might not last the time. As you say, most men haven't a clue have they.

Hi Ann, that was good of your OH, my husband stears clear of anything like that, he wouldn't have gone I'm sure.Talking about pyjamas etc and being hot in bed, just before Christmas I had a bit of a panic...you know when you used to wet yourself as a kiddy you always felt cold around said area. Well I thought I'd wet the bed (That's always my fear) as I had this terribly cold feeling around my buttocks and top of my legs, I momentarily thought, "Oh god no!" It turned out that they (my buttocks) were poking out the side of the bed and basically the rest of me was under the duvet...gawd what a sight! Really glad no one was about or came into my bedroom.

Oh Pam!!!! Lol I must look a fright at times cos I am always 'poking' bits out of the bed to cool too. We could scare burglars off couldn't we!!!!!

☼ Pam ☼ Report 15 Apr 2009 12:57

That's very true Ann. One of my favourite parts of my anatomy for poking out the bed is my feet, it usually makes me feel a little bit cooler.

Well off out to the local Tesco in a while. speak to you all later I hope.

My feet are often hanging over the side of the bed.I think if they are cool it makes the rest of you seem a bit more comfortable. For a little while anyway.!
I'm just back from Tesco Pam.

The bit I really hated, and it does pass, was the wee a minute phase.Always bursting.

Now that makes a big difference to how you organize your life!

☼ Pam ☼ Report 15 Apr 2009 15:16

Hi everyone, Tesco wasn't too bad today, I tend to do 'two small shops', nowadays...well I try too. As we don't get through the food now our lad has moved out. Tell you what though, we do waste a lot. The things that I throw away cos of the sell by date.Mind you I don't think a day or two over makes any difference.

Hi sharron, think the worse time ever with wanting to wee really bad (and to the poiint where I thought I was going to pass out!) was on a plane coming back from Menorca a year or two back. I daren't walk for fear of wetting myself or I'd have gone back to my seat. The women in the loo seemed to be in there for f****ng years!! Even when I think about it now I feel bad! AAARRGGHH!

Sharron

Sharron Report 15 Apr 2009 15:24

We survived though didn't we? I think the more you worry about it the worse it can become.

The more you worry about being caught short, the more likely it is to happen.

Jane Report 15 Apr 2009 21:58
