I love all the Catherine Cookson novels I have loads of them and several large books.

I dare not give them away as my son used to buy me a book her latest edition for Birthdays and Christmases.

I didn't get much sleep last night either but for a totaly different reason
Weather had cooled down a lot here last night so I thought great we are going to have a more pleasent night. took my cholestral pill about 8.00 watched a bit of tele and went to bed.
came round just after mid night with a churning stomache ,feeling sick and that was me wide awake till about 4 then must have dropped off ,
OH traveling to England this morning got up at 6.00 and thats me awake
so I am feeling pretty tired , still feel yucky ,phoned Drs and the receptionest will talk to the doctor and I have to phone later this afternoon.
to hear what he has to say.

might go back to bed for a few hours this afternoon, weather is really quite cool this morning , sunny but lots of clouds around, to chilly to sit out. good for the washing.

I love Catherine Cookson Books to , Daughter no 1 has all the books on DVD I must remember to ask her if I can borrow them again. The accent reminds me of my homeland.

Fiona, I am sorry to hear you had a dreadful night, I wonder if its the tablet that made you feel like that, perhayps a period of adjustment is required to get used to taking them.

Its another hot morning here in ol Blighty.

Had a strange dream last night. I went to a meet in my nightie and the weather was freezing, everybody else had coats and scarves on there is me walkng the streets bare-foot. But oddly, Shimms sent me a message this morning wishing me luck etc said she she must get on otherwise she will be travelling down in her nightie!

No I dont have to go at all, but now I have made the decision, feel I must keep to it lol. Have to admit, it has all got a bit too emotional, I am a soppy mare, had not realised how lovely peeps were on here, and the amount of lovely PMs and words I have received is just overwhelming lol.

But hey, I am not gone forever, well I bl@@dy well hope not! Just taking a step back for a while. You wont know I am gone and before you know it I will be back - tormenting you all and making you laugh!

Now, I must go and find some paper to print off all the lovely PMs peeps have sent.

Morning Jane.

Yes it's certainly the pill that I took last night thats making me feel sick.
I often have problems with medication making me feel sick and queasy, It's the same with certain antibiotics , they also upset my stomach.
usually have to change the kind of medication or reduce the dose, being small in statue ,I sometimes can only take 1 tablet in stead of the normal adult dose of 2, these pills that I have started are 40mg , so hopefully the doctor will say reduce the dose to say 20mg.
well just have to see what he says this afternoon.

I had a good sleep last night with a bit extra because OH overslept.....its only his 3rd day back at work and he isn't back in the swing yet!! He needs that cockerel Jane!! lol I did wake up briefly in the early hours in the middle of a dream and a car alarm was going off. When I woke up it stopped and I wasn't sure if it was part of the dream or whether my car alarm had gone off!!!

Fiona, I sympathise with you as many antibiotics make me feel churny and queasy. Some of them I'm ok with after a couple of days though. Nothing worse than starting to feel a bit better and staring at the next pill you are due to take!! Hope the doctor can suggest something better for you.

Just got of the phone to the doctors, she thinks the symptons are very unusual for these pills.!!!! Don't make me laugh Ah Ah
I told her if you look at the list of side effects for these pills you will see the most common are, stomach pain, feeling sick etc,
she told me ok don't take any more this week and try again at the beginning of next week and if they cause the same symptoms as last night get in touch with the surgery again. and that was that.
oh well , no problem if I still feel sick again in a weeks time after taking a pill again. I will be up there on the door step with the leaflet & won't even bother to phone.
weather is the better now than it has been all day. the wind outside has dropped.

How disappointing Fiona........just sounds like a week has been wasted if you feel the same next week when you take one. Perhaps she's trying to rule out it being a tummy bug this time.......but it would be a bit of a coincidence!! You must feel fed up.

There are actually 2 cockerels!!!!!!!!!!! but one is nearer our house than the other,I think that one is over the other side of their garden.I don't think their owners can hear them as all their bedrooms are in the front of their house.
