Well I have just watered the back garden with help from the dog.He just loves water and when the hose and sprinkler bit get going so does he lol.So he isn't a hotdog any more!! I hope we don't have any hosepipe ban this summer as we have a very large garden with lots of new plants and a small veg patch.

It's our 28th wedding anniversary tomorrow.I can't believe it really.We aren't going out ,but on Sunday I thought it would be a good idea to use my 'Afternoon Cream Tea Voucher that my daughter bought for Mothers Day.It is at a place called Rushton Hall,so to be able to sit in the courtyard on a sunny day stuffing ourselves with sandwiches ,scones and cream and allsorts of other goodies will be great.No cooked dinner that day!!!!!!!! I shall probably feel sick afterwards lol

People say I have a nice voice, but when I have heard a recording I sound like a script writers impression of a real country bumpkin, which I am not. I have just lived in the country a long time!

I heard my voice many many years ago on a recording - it was appalling, a proper Bristolian accent. It has since improved. I used to do the announcements at a House of Fraser store I worked at. Plus all the recordings for discounts etc were me too lol. It was most bizaare to go around the store and hear myself lol.

Jane congratulations on achieving 28 years of marriage. Your day out on Sunday to Rushton Hall sound wonderful.

Been a lovely day here, really warm.
Saw the nurse this morning took another blood test and I have to ring back in a weeks time for the result , nurse said by looking at the other results from other blood tests she thinks it is likely that the doctor will put me on medication to keep an eye on my blood presure wich she say's is fine at the moment and check my collestrel.(spelling)
Concerned over my kidney's because of my parents past medical history , dad has high blood presure, and mum had a kidney removed.

congratulations for your 28th wedding Anniversary Jane, I beat you by 2 years was my 30th Anniversary which was on February 3rd of this year
I'm sure you'll have a lovely day on Sunday at Rushton Hall.

I'm off for a shower, very sticky after spending the afternoon in the sun. hair smells smokey from the Barbie.

Talking of accents, although I've lived in norfolk since 1968, I still have what you would describe I suppose as a home counties accent. I was born in London but up until we moved to here, lived all over, Glasgow, and London but mostly Surrey as my nan lived there.

Good Morning Pam, Arctic Blonde, Jane, Jean (Monmouth), FamilySearcher, Annx, Marilyn (have I missed anybody lol) Yes and to Fiona also xxx

~~~~~~~~~~waves to you all~~~~~~~~~~~
Lovely morning here, am doing a mini spring clean, have got both bedrooms curtains in the machine, I will regret my enthusiasm when my knee is complaining later lol.
OH has got rid of all the newspapers (recycling day today), just when I need one to clean the windows tsk! (I am old fashioned and use vinegar and water, no smears and the windows are sparkling clean when rubbed with newspaper). Saves money too!
Cranberry juice makes you P! Dont say I didn't warn you lolololol
Have a lovely day everybody whatever you may be up to.
I always always pick the hottest day of the year to do spring cleaning - not intentional just happens that way lol But wont be doing to much to be honest, not like I used to, just the curtains and wash the windows that will be enough for one day.
