Dudley Report 8 Feb 2009 14:45

I was at work talking to a colleague who informed me that his father was in the RAF during the Second World War. He flew in the Wellington Bombers and lived through 3 tours of service?!! thats carzy 3 tours, i don't know what the percentages ar on that but it is crazy!

Anyway, he told me that his brother sold his fathers Log book on EBAY!!! Outrageous!

So now i'm scouring Ebay for items relating to mine and my girlfriends families military past eceryday. I've come accross a few things, the most interesting was a sculture bust thing of some guy called "Cyril" who was a Dunkirk POW survivor. I thought that if anyone didn't have a photo of their ancestor called Cyril who was a Dunkirk POW, what a great opportunity to see their reletive in three dimensions. Well im going back to ebay to scour more lost geneology items. Cyrils Item number was 150325732086 if anyone knows poor Cyril LOL!
