	Smoke billowed from the ruins as they rode into Futureal. Death echoed from every corner reaching at them with every stride. "No one was spared", said one of the twelve, "No one at all", came a reply from another. They came to a stop at the bodies of several people outside a smouldering dwelling. dismounting Wrathchild the Darklord walked towards the charred door. Glowing embers rose into the air as he pushed open the door and entered the dwelling. More bodies inside and the smell of death came to The dark one more strongly now. he seemed to stay inside for an eternity Then....... Under a broken table the Dark one spotted a flicker of life and then another, bending down as pushing it aside the dark one found them cowering. Motionless for a while the Darklord stared at them as if looking at a refletion of a past life, echoes of the village that the darklord had once been part of came back. Snapping back to the now the Darklord offered a hand and said "You are safe now", the children reached out their hands and the Darklord took them outside.
