Schools gone mad

Dawnieher3headaches Report 10 Apr 2008 17:37

Had a meeting a laddos school today with the lady that has done his memory tests and the Senco.
Last week he told me he didnt do tech this term he missed it and had to go to another class to do art and maths.

This meant he was missing woodwork which he could cope with as its a practical subject.

Reason is there are too many in a class so the head has decided it is unsafe and so many have to miss tech on a rota system and do other lessons.

Why should they have to miss lessons they are meant to have???????????? Ok safety comes first but employ another teacher to make the class sizes ok. Its not as if the school is over subscribed so if it was a full school how many would then miss the lessons.

Sorry rant over
