Sorry I haven't been about to nudge you Stephen, Mum has been poorly in hospital, but she is home now so I'm able to send you a special nudge and to give you the great news that from January 2010 ALL 14 year olds in the south east will be screened for undetected heart conditions with the hope that the screening will then go nationwide.

I know nothing I do will bring Stephen back to me, but if by raising funds and awareness can prevent other children leaving us, then I know Stephen would be proud to be a part of it. I will never ever be the same person again, neither will my children, but we take heart by making people aware of this silent killer, and the news from CRY just makes us feel good.
