I have hit a total dead end (pardon the pun).

Michael Rooney born probably Northern Ireland? 1863/65. He was in the RIC and was posted to Connaught. He met and married Bridget Mulligan a Roscommon girl. They married in 1891 and lived in Lascul, Roscommon.
On the 1901 census for County Mayo, Bridget is shown as Head, married to Michael in the RIC, along with their children.

My problem is, i cannot find his birth or parents names (or his marriage). I would be grateful of any help.
Regards
Donna
