spud this is some info. i was asked to pass on to you xx
Lemon Nelly says:
SPUD, IF YOU CHECK OUT SCOTLANDS PEOPLE THEY HAVE RECENTLY ADDED BIRTHS UP TO I THINK THE 1950'S.....IF YOU CAN CHECK HE IS ON THERE REGISTERED BY THE NAME YOU THINK, YOU WILL GET IT IN GRO EDINBURGH OR YOU CAN ORDER IT FOR £10 ON SCOTLANDS PEOPLE. THEN IF HE HAD HIS NAME CHANGED THROUGH ADOPTION IT COULD WELL BE IT WILL SHOW ON NEW CERT PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS...HOPE THIS HELPS

My paternal grandother alegedly had an illegitemate son in the early twentys.
If i went to New Register House would I be able to view his birth details as he was said to have been adopted soon afterwards?

Thanks
