Hi Derek, The Victoria State Library has an 'Ask Us' Librarian service (query form on-line) - they will check their records -including electoral rolls for you. ........I noticed 1 death in the (NSW) RYERSON INDEX :Hiram Robert Harridence d 31/7/199? age 52yrs (of Rockdale) -notice was in 'Sydney Morning Herald' 2/8/199? (couldn't decipher last digit) RYERSON's do 'look-ups'. ........Also -the NSW State Library would look-up the electoral roll for him in Rockdale (pre 1990). Valerie (WA)

I am sure he is not the only one, but I need some guidence, please.
Malcolm of Colchester helped with info regarding a possible Harridence mob descending on Melbourne sometime between 1881 UK census and 1903 (and later) OZ Electoral Rolls. Is there a way to find this family arriving in Australia, the names are so significant, it has to be them.
Did I read somewhere that there is only marriage records available, if so where? Why did I ever start this madness ?? Gotta be off my trolley, Derek in France
