a no wot u r sayin n that is the last thing a would do, when a got the internet a was tellin my mum the things it can do n she said well a want to no who my dad is

so here i am lookin, my mum has 3 sisters 3 brothers all surname`s mccrorie my mum is the youngest

obviously diffrent fathers

It concerns me that whilst doing look-ups for living people, that armed with the information we have given them, they are going to hare round to find the missing relative and present themselves on the doorstep.and be disappointed with further rejection.
There is normally a good reason why the person has left that relationship, maybe remarried, started a new life. The sudden arrival of a new or unknown relative can cause many problems.
I feel we should have a standard answer directing them to a third party/ mediator rather than just deliver the info. willy-nilly.It is clear that not all requests are from mature people who have thought the problem through properly and leads to emotionally charged discourse.I think If we all agree to respond in the same way it would be more helpful.
