On Line Census - Advice Please

I have the 1881 British census cd's but never use them because they're just transcriptions and I would rather use the ones on Ancestry so that I can view the originals. |

Please could anyone tell me if the discs which you can buy with the censuses on from various areas are the same as you can view on line. |
