I've tried to delete the errors which I've made, unfortunately because they have descendants I cannot do this. Would I be able to delete my complete tree and start again.? |

You either have to delete the descendants first (starting with the nearest generation to the present day) or as you suggest delete the whole lot and start again. |

Another option is to email GR & ask them to put it right from their end , but you will have to give them an explaination of what you need to be done. |

Yet another option is to have your tree on your hard drive using Family History software. |
