Could possibly be Casualty Reception Station,lots of large houses were used for that purpose.

If you go to www.nationalarchives.gov.uk I think you will find a page giving full details of all abbreviations.

I have received my Fathers army records from 1941 and there are a lot of abbreviations that i dont understand. is there any body willing to abbreviate for me please.
