There are freebies you can download or you can buy FTM (Family Tree Maker) for £5-6.

If you download a programme make sure that you can print trees, export a GEDCOM and ideally create reports.

Reports and the partial trees that FTM offer mean you need only share what you need to, it avoids revealing the whole tree to someone when you don't need to.

I have down loaded my family tree on to my computer viia GedCom - does any one know where I can download the software to access?
