Yes, I have done that many times with my rellies London adresses. Not just to find my ancestors but to research the property and where abouts on the street it was situated eg "69 Leather Lane, Holborn". |

You can do an address search on 1901censusonline and get an idea of where the street is and then you can search Ancestry ; |
