What is his name, dob and place of birth - he may be on the WW1 Pension records on ancestry. |

I have already checked them thanks Heather. As I understand it the pension records are for those who were discharged early. My G Grandad William Victor Lawrence enlisted in 1907 and left the army in 1919. |

I also have his medal card and thanks to a kind gentleman on the ww1 forum I have details of the battle when he was awarded his military medal. |

The trouble is that a child born to a married woman was presumed to be her husband's....whether or not that was fact. |
