If you look at the original registers...or on film or fiche... and John signed his name you could compare that to a copy of your John's signature at marriage to Mary Ann. |

ENJ thanks - the 1814 one I can delete as he would only be 13yrs old., the 1827 one was to Mary Ann. the 1818 would make John 17yrs so I would think the 1822 one most likely this was to Ann Maria Nowlyn. How can I prove this? |

In parish records you might be able to find the banns of marriage of John to Mary Ann. |
