How do I get rid of ADD ON's on my PC?

I keep on getting disrupted whilst viewing Ancestry site by a problem resulting in my connection being cut off in the middle of my work. This annoys me, as I have to start all over again - hopefully before the ADD ON reappears. I would appeciate help from any member in getting rid of this problem

oh I see but how do you get rid of them then ????
As I just did what you said and there is nothing in there only Adobe

hi, try right clicking the add on bar in the browser window, and de-select the ones you dont need.

Val, add-ons are extra, optional bits that you can add to a program. Firefox calls them "extensions".

Adblock and Flashblock are the two Firefox extensions I use. Just google for them.

Do not use Ancestry without Adblock!!!! (Or GR, for that matter.)

I haven't heard of / bothered with Flashblock, since Adblock does the trick.
