	To be honest Bunny, I shouldnt worry about them. Its just a standardised census form - it doesnt mean your ancestors were on a ship or in an institution (unless they were of course!) it is not something you will really ever use. (I expect the purists will jump on me now - LOL)

	ED is Enumeration District (for a census) Institution could be hospital, school, prison etc Vessel is a ship. As I dont use Ancestry I cant tell you how to use it, sorry. Huia.

	what does this mean on ancestry and what do you do with the numbers on same ?. can anyone enlighten me please? many thanks,Paula.
