Does anyone know what an Enquiry Agent would have done for a living? The person concerned died in 1968. |

I really don't know the answer, but I would imagine he was either some sort of private detective or worked for an insurance company scrutinising claims. |

A search through google looking at enquiry agent brings up websites for private detectives but I didnt get past page one! |
