I'm trying to find (in either the 1881 or 1891 census) my relatives John Rondeau b.1853, his wife Elizabeth (Wallcroft) b.1857 and their children John (1880), William (1882), Edward (1884), Ellen 1885) and Walter (1890).

I can find them in the 1901 census in Kensington, but they were all born in Salford and in 1891 Ellen (my great grandmother) was living in Salford with her grandparents (Wallcrofts) aged 5, but there is no sign of the rest of the family in either census.

I imagine that as it's an unusual name, it's a typo somewhere, but can I find them? Can I heck!

Can some kind soul have a look and see if you can find what I can't? Please?

Thanks in advance,
Lesley

OK, I found John, Elizabeth and baby John in the 1881 census, still in Salford. They were listed as Rondean.

Still can't find them on the 1891 census though...
