Sorry, was in the bath. Never thought of the curly apostrophe, what a carry on! The names were entered directly, I only use Gedcom to import to Tribal Pages.

It's not a question of mismatched quotes, Glen.

The first time, I typed "O'Shea" straight into my tree, and the apostrophe came out straight. The name then automatically appeared in the search box at the top of the page, so the apostrophe was identical to the one in the tree, but even so, the search produced no results.
