I have been sitting here this afternoon tracing my family back through the census records. On the 1901 census I have Florance Leary aged 57, occupation Charwoman. Underneath is listed wife Phoebe age 58. |

Florence was used as a boys name and not just a girls name. |

He's on the 1851 census, 8 yr. old son of Florence & Catherine. Father Florence was from Ireland (A male name in Ireland?) There are a couple of other male Florences on the census, also born Ireland. |
