We have been trying to track down my father in law Norman Brown's birth certificate. On his baptismal certificate from the province of Quebec his birthdate is listed as 28 Oct. 1914 - but he was not baptised until June 1915. We don't know who his father was as his parents weren't married. His mother, (Alice) Maud Brown later married Fred Bradley & had 3 daughters. Maud's mother Margaret Kelly Brown raised Norman as Fred apparently did not want him around. |

Not sure about this one. I know that certainly if say I was to die in New Zealand my death certificate would be held in NZ and not the UK, even though I am British. |
