On the History and Trying to find sites on GR is there a quick and easy way of searching through the posts. As I only come on line for a short time each day, I may well miss a post??

I suppose the only way would be to do a search (box on the left) with the names that you are interested in.

I click on Surname summary" at the top of the trying to find board then in the dropdown box"Show activity for"(your choice) number of days. Then I scroll through looking for additions to names or boards.

You know I havent used those boards since probably the first week I joined here! I always assume anyone looking for my names will get a hot match or look through the trees to contact me.

We are all different.I have used "surname summary" at least once a week, since I joined.
It is a rather good place to do lookups as you are helping others who share your names.
