Has anyone come across this? I would like to know how to go about cross referencing the family, without having to put two sets of the same name down. |

I've not come across it myself but have read similar queries from others and the answers. |

Paula is correct - but if you have a genealogy program on your computer you can merge families then upload a gedcom to GR and it will show them once only. Only other way is to enter them twice and cross-reference. |

Get yourself a better program on your computer - GRs is pretty awful. Most of us use the family treemaker 2006 (dont get the 2008 - too many glitches) - you can get it for a tenner at twr computing online including free ancestry access for two weeks and you can back it up to a cd or to internet storage and add photos, make books, print reports, trees etc and create an online homepage. |

Yes, thats what I was going to say - if you can add it no prob to the computer program just do another gedcom and hopefully that will work :) |
