I would be grateful if anyone could help me with some info about my great grans birth.
I have the problem of not knowing her parents names but i think she was born around 1909.
Her name is Gwendoline Utteridge i think that was her maiden name.

There are these two deaths on Ancestry. Is one of them your great gran?

If so it would seem as if Utteridge was her married name.

Walter and Lorna were evidently born to an unmarried mother. The mother's maiden name was only added to the index in 1911, so there's no way of telling (without buying the certificate) the maiden name of the mothers of Charles, Gwendoline and Maud.

I will have to buy the certificate.
As I don't know much about the family on my great grans side but i know my great gran had 3 daughters one (my nana) to one man and my nanas 2 sisters by another man and that my nan has brothers but don't know anything about the brothers and can't ask her sisters anything as the have both passed way so i am stuck now

Your next step is to get Gwendoline's birth certificate, which will give the names of her parents. If you order it online here, it'll cost you £7.00, provided you quote the reference number I gave you:

She might be the child of Richard and Jane, but Jane would have been about 49 when she was born. She could equally well have been the child of their daughter Ellen, who would have been 18.

Ancestry has a 3-day free trial on at the moment, which it might be worth your while signing up for. That way you could look at earlier censuses and have a look for the births of Gwendoline's children (although that'll be hard work unless you know their names and rough dates of birth, because you have to trawl through the index quarter by quarter).

You really need to buy her marriage cert first. This will give you her father's name at least and her age. Witnesses might be siblings too.
