Scottish births on Ancestry

I'm looking for the birth record of one of my ancestors on ancestry, but he was born in Scotland.

Am I losing it completely or are there none on there for Scotland.
His info is
David Dunse
born 1857 in Ladykirk, Berwickshire.

I'm looking for his mother's maiden name so as to confirm some information I have that conflicts with information given by someone else.

Any help would really be appreciated

Scottish births are found on the following website which is pay per view, 30 credits for £6

If he married on Scotland then both his parents will also be shown on the marriage registry
