Member Since: April 2007 Posts: 14 Send Message	Hi all - many thanx 4 all your replies, as I mentioned b4 I've not been on site 4 a while - u know what its like trying to balance home, work & leisure! To everyone who've kindly done look-ups - I'm hoping 2 make a list & check each 1 out over the nxt few weeks. Reggie - re my grandmother's birth year - the evidence is from 1901 census & age given on her marriage cert. The place of birth is taken from the census also, although she was at her grandfather's home at the time & not her parents. By looking ten years back in the 1891 census I found her father (then single) living with her grandfather - and the rest of the family & so were able to tie father & son. The names & ages of all family members correspond in both census reports. I don't unfortunately have an instance of grandma & her dad 2gether, but her sister, an aunt I personally remember is in the 1901 census with her dad & family. I have just made contact with a descendant of my aunt's on site & bells are starting to ring. Am I beginning to convince u yet? Hope so, thanx again for 4 your help - Rita
