Which bit don't you understand - the WTF?
I don't know what of means but would guess that they don't seem to have a clue when these events happened?

A date range of 1849-1914 for someones death seems a bit vague to me!

Is this part of a tree that you have found on Ancestry?

From Google

What is “WFT” or “WFT est.”, and what does it mean?

WFT simply means "World Family Tree", the name given to the CD-ROMs sold by Broderbund that contain genealogical information. For example: "1750-1849 WFT est. " means that the exact date is not known, but it is an estimate (created by Broderbund) based on dates given that relate to this person. This could mean that a date is known for the birth of a descendant and based on the assumption that there is 20-30 years between generations; this would put the birth of the original person between those years.
